TEOLOGINEN AIKAKAUSKIRJA TEOLOGISK TIDSKRIFT Hakemisto Register 1984–2005 Vuosikerrat Årgångarna 89–110 Laatinut – Redigerat av Minna Ahokas Alkusana Teologisella Aikakauskirjalla on ilo lähettää tilaajilleen uusi, vuosikerrat 89–110 ja vuodet 984– 005 käsittävä hakemisto. Näiden kahdenkymmenenkahden vuoden aikana lehti on julkaissut yhteensä 487 kirjoitusta, joista 990 Kirjoituksia/Uppsatser-osastossa, 458 Katsauksia ja keskus- telua / Överblick och diskussion (aik. Ajan varrelta / Ur samtiden) -osastossa ja 79 Kirjallisuutta/ Litteratur-osastossa. Sivuja näihin vuosikertoihin mahtuu 874. Teologisen Aikakauskirjan edellinen hakemisto julkaistiin vuonna 985. Tämä Raili Pentin laa- tima hakemisto käsitti lähes kolmenkymmenen vuoden aineiston eli vuosikerrat 6–88 vuosilta 956–98. Tuona ajanjaksona ajanjaksona lehti julkaisi 986 artikkelia, 65 kirja-arvostelua ja 0 muuta kirjoitusta. Uuden hakemiston laatiminen tuli ajankohtaiseksi jo bibliografisten tarpei- den vuoksi, mutta erityisesti siksi, että suomalainen yliopistoteologia on kasvattanut volyymiaan huomattavasti ja sen painopisteet ovat muuttuneet. Hakemiston käyttäjä huomannee pian, mi- ten lehden Teologinen Aikakauskirja on heijastanut akateemisen maailman mullistuksia. Uusi hakemisto on kolmiosainen. Siionin virsistä toimitettiin uusi laitos, joka otettiin käyttöön ke- sällä 2017 Nilsiän herättäjäjuhlilla. Herännäisyydelle on tunnusomaista ikävöivä usko ja al- haalla liikkuva armo. Ihminen on pieni, Jumala on suuri ja luotujaan rakastava ja armah- tava. Kristuksen ja ihmisen väliin ei saa asettaa mitään estettä, vaan Jumala armahtaa Kris- tuksen tähden syntisen ihmisen. Tutkimukseni käsittelee ystävyyttä Siionin virsissä. Herännäisyyden sydänäänet ja kristin- uskon tulkinta on luettavissa Siionin virsistä. Virsissä ja puheissa puhutaan usein ystävyy- destä. Heränneet kutsuvat toisiaan ystäviksi. Myös suhde Jeesukseen Kristukseen kuvataan usein ystävä-käsitteen avulla. Tämä tekee Jeesuksesta helposti lähestyttävän. Jeesus-ystävä paljastaa salatun Jumalan armolliset kasvot. Ystävyyttä voidaan pitää herännäisyyttä avaa- vana avainkäsitteenä. Tutkimus -

119 Viisijakoisuus suomalaisuussymbolina suomalaisessa virsikirjassa 1800-luvulla Marianne Ahmaoja Suomalaisen virsikirjan uusiminen, kansallisen identiteetin suurhanke Suomen siirtyminen osaksi Venäjää loi pohjan kansallisen Suomen kehittämi- selle. Suomessakin huomattiin, että tulevaisuus kannatti rakentaa oman kie- len, kulttuurin ja sivistyksen varaan. Yhteinen oma kieli lähensi sivistyneistöä ja rahvasta ja herätti sivistyneistössä halun työskennellä rahvaan, oman maan ja kansan hyväksi. Venäjän keisari puolestaan pyrki pitämään kirkon ja papiston lähellään, sillä Suomessa papit olivat virkamiehiä, jotka hoitivat kuntien hal- lintoa ja johdattivat rahvasta. Venäjä pyrki osoittamaan niin suomalaisille kuin ruotsalaisillekin, että Suomen asiat olivat vähintään yhtä hyvin kuin Ruotsin val- lan aikana eikä valtauskonnosta ortodoksisuudesta poikkeaminen ollut laajassa Venäjän keisarikunnassa uutta. Kun luterilaisen valtiokirkon ja uuden hallitsijan tavoitteet niveltyivät yhteen, Suomi sai pitää luterilaisen uskontonsa, juhlia us- konpuhdistuksen riemujuhlavuotta 1817, laatia kirkkolain ja aloittaa kirkollis- ten kirjojen uudistamisen 1817. Tarvittiin kuitenkin kolme komiteaa ennen kuin uudistetun virsikirjan tekstit oli saatu sivistyneistön hengellisiä, kulttuurisia ja kielellisiä tarpeita vastaavaan muotoon. Even though his job in Leipzig kept him very busy, in his spare time, Bach conducted a group of musicians who liked to get together to perform at a local coffee house. During his lifetime, people thought of Bach as just an ordinary working musician. No one really knew much about his music until years after his death, when another composer, Felix Mendelssohn, conducted a performance of Bach's St. Matthew Passion. Bach is now seen as one of the greatest geniuses in music history. He wrote all kinds of music -- for organ and other keyboard instruments, orchestras, choirs, and concertos for many different instrumental combinations. He was a devoutly religious man, and knew tragedy: his first wife died suddenly while he was away on business; 12 of his 20 children died in infancy; one of his sons had severe learning difficulties; and another ran away from home in his teens and died in mysterious circumstances. With employers, who rarely appreciated his talents, he was chippy and argumentative; at a family gathering with a few drinks and a pipe of tobacco, however, he was robustly good-humoured, especially when the Bach clan took turns to improvise rude country songs. Bach's style is baroque, characterised by lots of notes, simple motoric rhythms, and steady shifts of underlying harmony - it was derided by some as 'sewing-machine music'. -

The Migration of Protestant Music in European Culture Cristian Caraman ABSTRACT: The migration of musical art forms, from one nation to another, from one century to another and from one cultural context to another was a historical panacea of humanity. Through music, the Christian faith has managed to keep the dialogue open amongst the main Christian orientations—Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant/Evangelical. This article links the beginnings of protestant music, during the XIV and XVI centuries, to the spiritual manifestations that shaped the protestant music throughout history. A very important piece of the reformation is the Protestant chorale. The chorale brought forth the ideology of the reformation and gave life to the esthetic ideas of the humanists. The invention of the printing press in Krakow in 1475 helped spreading the teachings of Protestantism. KEY WORDS: Reformation, Protestant music, humanism, Chorale, Protestant, Christian faith. The Spread of Protestantism in Europe ach branch of the Reformation was deeply affected by Humanism.
