The Hamiota Agricultural Society is co-sponsoring a “Young Farm Couples Evening” at the Hamiota Sports Complex on Thursday, January 24th, beginning at 6:30 PM. This event is being organized and spear headed by Hamiota’s native son, Kim McConnell. Together with Kim, the Ag Society is pleased to bring together a group of young, like-minded farm couples to discuss the challenges and the opportunities in today’s primary agricultural production field. Kim will be joined by Greg and Chantelle Donahue from Biggar, SK. The Donahue’s run a large farm near Biggar, testing some new European equipment and farming practices that show great early promise.
