Students will be participating Condobolin to compete at the Lachlan PSSA in morning fitness, K-2 Tuesday-Friday and 3-6 swimming carnival. Best wishes to Scarlett, Tilly, Tuesday and Wednesday. The Operation Art program provides a forum for schools and students to demonstrate their visual arts achievements through exhibitions at the Armory Gallery, Sydney Olympic Park and the Art Gallery of New South Wales. Closing date for entries to QPS: 21st May, 2021 Artwork size: Minimum A4 (30 x 21cm), maximum A2 (42 x 60cm), maximum depth 5mm. Please note: Artwork deeper than this limit will not be framed. Curatorial Brief: “As some exhibited works will eventually be hung at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, we ask that special consideration be given to ensure that the artwork submitted is uplifting and does not contain material that could be considered culturally sensitive in nature”. Ivy Baddock, Art Curator, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Entry Fee: The fee this year for Government Schools is $95.00 per artwork. This fee is to be paid by entrants into this competition. Quandialla Public School will assist with entry fees, making the entry fee for QPS students = $55.00 per artwork. Artwork Limit: Each school may submit up to four works of art. Please notify the school if you wish to participate in the 2020 Operation Art Exhibition. If more than 4 artworks are received, the school will make the decision on which ones to enter. For collaborative works, a maximum of four (4) students per work may contribute to creating the entry. Need ideas for artworks?
