THE HAMMER Justin Hamonic officially reached highs in goals, assists and points on Monday night. The 6’4, 210 lbs. defenseman has 15 points (2G, 13A) in 66 games. What may be more impres- sive is his 10 PIM, which is the lowest among players with 25+ games — despite playing a physical game. His even +/- rating is stronger than it may look, as Hamonic is tasked with shutting down the top opponents every night. The native also begins many of his shifts in the defensive zone, making his career highs in offensive production even more impressive.
