2020-21Game Notes 2020-21 GAME NOTES Tulsa Oilers f ECHL GAME #299 TULSA OILERS vs KANSAS CITY MAVERICKS OILERS 2020-21 Record Sunday, April 4 - BOK CENTER (TULSA, OK) OVERALL: 20-20-3-1 HOME: 8-9-1-1 TULSA OILERS KANSAS CITY MAVERICKS 20-20-3-1 (44 PTS) 18-16-6-2 (42 PTS) AWAY: 12-11-2-0 Sixth Place - WEST Fifth Place - WEST HEAD COACH: ROB MURRAY (4th SEASON) HEAD COACH:TAD O’HAD FIELDS OF GREEN Matt Greenfield has been a difficult goaltender for the Oilers to solve this season. The rookie goalie is 4-0-0-0 against Tulsa this season, only allowing two goals in his four appearences, and registering a .983 save percentage against the Oilers this year. Greenfield has only started three of those games, but turned aside every shot he faced after taking over for Matt Ginn on Friday night at Cable Dahmer Arena. Greenfield is a 26-year-old rookie goaltender after backstopping the University of Calgary the last four seasons. Greenfield played in three separate junior leagues, the USHL, the BCHL and the OHL — where he was teammates with Oilers forward Darby Llewellyn on the Kitchener Rangers. Former Oilers’ defensemen Miles Liberati and Dmitri Sergeyev also played with Greenfield in Kitchener. WESTERN CONFERENCE SHOOTING GALLERY STANDINGS (WIN PCT) The Oilers got plenty of pucks to the net over the last two games, registering 37 on Friday night and 41 last night. Both of those efforts were above the Oilers average shots for (33.9) and the Mavericks 1. FORT WAYNE- (.674) average shots against (31.6). Matt Lane tied Adam Pleskach’s team-high eight shots last night. Adam 2. WICHITA - (.670) Pleskach was held off the shot chart for the first time this season, but Pleskach still leads the ECHL with 3. ALLEN - (.638) 168. Pleskach has led the league in shots the last three seasons. Alan Lyszczarczyk, Justin Taylor and J.C. Brassard all produced or tied personal season highs in shots last night. The Oilers lead the league 4. UTAH (.558) 5. KANSAS CITY - (.524) in shots-per-game with no other team averaging 33 or above. 6. TULSA (.500) SCOUTING THE MAVERICKS 7. RAPID CITY (.500) Kansas City comes into tonight on a two-game winning streak, finding the back of the net five times in their most-recent outing. The Mavericks are currently on a 9-0 run in terms of unanswered goals, and Brodie Reid collected three points along with Rob Bordson last night. Both of them are veteran forwards, and Bordson left the game in the second period last night. Kansas City currently holds an 8-3 season series lead against the Oilers, defeating Tulsa more than any other team in the league. The two teams have swapped off dominating the series year-to-year with the Oilers holding a 21-24-3-1 record against Kansas City over the last five seasons. Tulsa beat Kansas City — name the Missouri Mavericks at the time — more than any other team during their 2015-16 Brabham Cup run under coach Richard Mat- vichuk. The Mavericks have had three coaches since then, John-Scott Dickson, Kohl Schultz and Tad O’Had. Brother Knights, As with all of our programming, family activities are changing along with the transition to Faith in Action. Moreover, the formerly-known-as youth activities and their chairmen are now also Family Programs. Our goal is the same: ours is a Catholic, family, fraternal, service Order, and my team focuses on the family part of that slogan, providing activities and recognition for families to pray, serve, play and grow together, now including through programs that engage our youth and build and reward academic and athletic skills. Family activities are how we support families, how we strengthen and build better families, how we teach and engage our families, how we encourage families to be alive and live the Catholic faith with joy and love for one another. They are how we attract young men with new families to our Order. Men of all ages who work long hours and come home don’t want to leave their families again to be with the Knights, they want to bring their families and be with the Knights. Bring your family with you to Knights’ activities and see how we make you a better husband and a better father, then join us, and we provide even more —the example of the many, many other friendly, faithful Catholic families across our state I’ve met as a consequence of being a Knight. Please contact me or any Family Chairman for more information on any of these activities: Dave Dillon Clancey Duttlinger Family Involvement (West) Chairman Food for Families Chairman 21427 165th Trl., Marshall, MO 65340 448 Country Ridge Dr., St.

  • Screening, Testing and Performance Enhancement in the Terminal
Screening, Testing and Performance Enhancement in the Terminal Many clinicians in general outpatient orthopedic and sports rehabilitation facilities struggle with late-stage progressions as well as testing to determine physical readiness for not only return to play but also for return to performance. The average clinician is limited by space and equipment limitations that make testing and performance training a challenge. Complicating matters further are athletes that have limited visits due to financial or insurance limitations. Day one of this two-day course is focused on the screening and testing of the athlete recovering from upper or lower extremity pathology with evidence-based, clinically useful measures to determine physical readiness for not only return to play, but also return to performance and transitioning back to strength and conditioning activities. An in-depth analysis of the physical qualities of performance as well as how to best train these qualities will be discussed as well as program design considerations for the athlete. On day two, the emphasis will shift to ACL rehabilitation. The data on ACL return to sport is clear – re-tear rates are high, they return with poor strength, and the percentage of athletes who return to sport are less than ideal. Day two will highlight best practices from beginning to end of the ACL rehabilitation continuum.
