The rookie goalie is 4-0-0-0 against Tulsa this season, only allowing two goals in his four appearences, and registering a .983 save percentage against the Oilers this year. Greenfield has only started three of those games, but turned aside every shot he faced after taking over for Matt Ginn on Friday night at Cable Dahmer Arena. Greenfield is a 26-year-old rookie goaltender after backstopping the University of Calgary the last four seasons. Greenfield played in three separate junior leagues, the USHL, the BCHL and the OHL — where he was teammates with Oilers forward Darby Llewellyn on the Kitchener Rangers. Former Oilers’ defensemen Miles Liberati and Dmitri Sergeyev also played with Greenfield in Kitchener. WESTERN CONFERENCE SHOOTING GALLERY STANDINGS (WIN PCT) The Oilers got plenty of pucks to the net over the last two games, registering 37 on Friday night and 41 last night. Both of those efforts were above the Oilers average shots for (33.9) and the Mavericks 1. FORT WAYNE- (.674) average shots against (31.6). Matt Lane tied Adam Pleskach’s team-high eight shots last night. Adam 2. WICHITA - (.670) Pleskach was held off the shot chart for the first time this season, but Pleskach still leads the ECHL with 3. ALLEN - (.638) 168. Pleskach has led the league in shots the last three seasons. Alan Lyszczarczyk, Justin Taylor and J.C. Brassard all produced or tied personal season highs in shots last night. The Oilers lead the league 4. UTAH (.558) 5. KANSAS CITY - (.524) in shots-per-game with no other team averaging 33 or above. 6. TULSA (.500) SCOUTING THE MAVERICKS 7. RAPID CITY (.500) Kansas City comes into tonight on a two-game winning streak, finding the back of the net five times in their most-recent outing. The Mavericks are currently on a 9-0 run in terms of unanswered goals, and Brodie Reid collected three points along with Rob Bordson last night. Both of them are veteran forwards, and Bordson left the game in the second period last night. Kansas City currently holds an 8-3 season series lead against the Oilers, defeating Tulsa more than any other team in the league. The two teams have swapped off dominating the series year-to-year with the Oilers holding a 21-24-3-1 record against Kansas City over the last five seasons. Tulsa beat Kansas City — name the Missouri Mavericks at the time — more than any other team during their 2015-16 Brabham Cup run under coach Richard Mat- vichuk. The Mavericks have had three coaches since then, John-Scott Dickson, Kohl Schultz and Tad O’Had.
