Please note tiering numbers are determined from the September 30th, 2018 1701 report from the Ministry of Education. Tiering numbers are determined using the Grade 10, 11 & Secondary Ungraded boys population totals and moving them forward one year. On the attached spreadsheet you will see a list of all the 2018-19 “active” teams with the Boys Basketball Commission and what their tiering numbers will be during the new two-year tiering cycle. If you do not see your school listed on the spreadsheet and wish to have a boys basketball team next year please contact James Johnston ([email protected]) for assistance. The Boys Basketball Commission tries to have each of their four tiers as balanced as possible. On the attached spreadsheet lines have been drawn to show the proposed tier breaks for 2019-2020 & 2020-2021. If you wish to move up a tier please complete the attached Request to move up form by February 22, 2019. After all forms are submitted tiers will be rebalanced and sent out again.
