Report dated September 3, 2015 from the General Manager of Growth & Development 200 - 214 regarding Update on Downtown Development Incentives. (RESOLUTION PREPARED) (This report provides Council with information regarding current downtown development and redevelopment incentives, with ties as to how these incentives could be used to incentivize the ‘Smart Growth Mixed-Use Development Project’ proposed by the DVDC (the proposal). The report also recalls the Downtown Master Plan and identifies areas of further study leading up to possible changes to the downtown community improvement plan framework.) R-3. Report dated October 6, 2015 from the General Manager of Citizen and Leisure 215 - 221 Services regarding Naming of former Long Lake Public School. (RESOLUTION PREPARED) (The Clifford and Lillian Fielding Foundation have donated $245,000 to the City of Greater Sudbury to enable the City to purchase the Long Lake Public School from the Rainbow District School Board. This report recommends that the park created by the purchase of the school and the existing Long Lake Playground be named Kivi Park in recognition of this donation and in accordance with conditions defined within the Building, Property and Park Naming Policy.)
