[email protected] 1 Executive Summary 1.1 This is an application, made under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, to record a public bridleway over a route running between the Harrow Way and New Barn, north of the village of Overton. The claim is supported by historical documentary and recent user evidence which the applicant believes indicates that the route the public has acquired a right of way over the route. 1.2 Much of the evidence relating to this application affects the continuation of the route running southward from the Harrow Way to Northington Farm. As a result, although not claimed by the applicant, the status of this route has also been considered as part of this investigation. 1.3 It is considered that the evidence reviewed is sufficient for it to be inferred that, on the balance of probabilities, the routes running between A-D (either side of the Harrow Way) on the accompanying map have been dedicated as public carriageways.
