The festival were conducted in 18 districts of the country and a total of 2,106 boys and girls under 12 years of age, special needs children and volunteers learned important messages of fun, play, friendship, respect and climate change. The festival created encouraging environments for everyone with the opportunity to play, regardless of their playing ability or background. Bhutan Football Federation’s Focal Persons led the festival with exercises like dribbling, shooting and small sided games, so that the children learn some basic techniques as well as have fun playing games. Credit goes to all our supporters, schools, parents and volunteers for never failing to help us to reach the children. It is only through this spirit of unity that we continue to reinforce the foundations for football in the country. For every football star, the journey begins from the Grassroots and the livelihood of football depends on our ability to nurture the game for our future generations.
