DVD – Antone’s: Home of the Blues, 2006-2007, Silverstar Entertainment Group. This video history of Clifford Antone’s blues music hall in Austin won the 2007 “Keeping Blues Alive Award” in the Film, Television or Video category, given by the Blues Foundation. It was also considered for nomination for a Grammy for best video 2007. I was an audio engineer on this project, responsible for restoring and “sweetening” audio clips from old films and recordings of performances at Antone’s.

Facilitated filming for the Blue October documentary video, 2017

Recorded and facilitated the audio and video for Ulrich Ellison’s live album Rise Up From the Ashes , 2016

Recruited, booked and facilitated the recording sessions for film composer Hanan Townshend’s soundtrack for an as yet unreleased Terence Malick (“Tree of Life”) film. This included a 3-day session with a 25 piece string session.

Facilitated video shoot in studio for Blue October (“Sway”), 2014 Recruited, booked and facilitated the recording sessions for Blue October’s album Sway in February and March 2013. This resulted in a full album credit for two students. Sway debuted at#13 on the Billboard 100.

Continued monthly recordings in 2017 for Tea Time Talk , audio English lessons for Japan’s English Journal (ALC Press - NHK). These recordings commenced in 2008.

Audio Engineer/Supervisor, surround sound recording, live multitrack recording, mixing and audio post-production for Texas Music Café, a PBS program, 2007 – present. Re-broadcasts and new production begin in 2014. I am working on the logistics of involving students from the Sound Recording Technology program with the post-production of audio for this series so that they can get commercial credits before graduating because the show has moved video production to Waco.
