Waheguru Ji Ka , Ji Ki Fateh!

Dear Parents,

First and foremost, we would like to thank you for registering your children for Bahadur Bachey 2018. With Guru Ji’s grace, Bahadur Bachey is in its 13th year and we are excited to share this special time with your children!

The theme of the camp this year is Soul of a Saint, Spirit of a Warrior or the concept of Sant-Sipahi. Every aspect of the camp, from curriculum to sports, has been planned keeping this theme in mind. Through these activities, we hope to teach our Bahaduros the qualities of both a saint and a warrior (such as compassion, kindness, courage and standing up for what is right), the importance of balancing both aspects as well as how these may be applied in their daily lives.

The curriculum in Bahadur Bachey is delivered through various methods such as classroom lessons, role plays, exciting games and discussions. Through the camp, we hope to help your children translate these teachings into everyday behaviours and mind-sets.

Along with inspiring Darbar sessions and engaging curriculum, we have also lined up an array of exciting, fun-filled activities such as Bahdur Battle and Talent Night. Further details of the camp programme may be found in the later part of this Welcome Pack. To ensure that your child is prepared for the camp and gets a full experience, please refer to the enclosed packing list.

At any point of time, should you need to speak to a member of the Bahadur Bachey Team, the contact details of the designated members have been provided herein. Please do not hesitate to contact us at any point of time during the camp.

Lastly, we have also organized parents workshop covering a variety of topics relevant to you. We would strongly encourage you to attend the workshops, the details of which can be found herein. To celebrate this special time with you, we humbly invite you to be part of Bahadur Bachey 2018 by joining us as sewadars so that we may work together to make the camp a fruitful and unforgettable experience for the children.

The Bahadur Bachey team has put together an array of workshops for parents on topics that are important and relevant to you. From cyber wellness to Gursikhi parenting, the parenting workshop aims to help you in both your individual capacity and your role as a parent.

To facilitate these workshops, we have engaged experienced and knowledgeable speakers, some of whom are parents like yourselves!

We hope that the workshops will serve as a platform for you to answer some of your questions and even to have a discussion with other parents on the challenges and experience of parenting.
