March 2000 INTRODUCTION NGO WORK IN CONFLICT AREAS: A BIBLOGRAPHY - INTERNATIONAL ALERT

This bibliography was prepared as part of the Development and Peace Building Programme of International Alert. The bibliography although extensive is not comprehensive and we welcome suggestion for additions, updates, amendments and corrections. These and any other feedback should be emailed to . We are also happy to receive hard copies of material for inclusion in the bibliography, and these should be sent to Andrew Sherriff at the address given on the cover page. In preparing this bibliography material was gathered from a wide variety of sources, unfortunately though, International Alert can not assist those wishing to obtain non-International Alert materials listed on this bibliography. Those wishing to obtain such materials are advised to contact the original publishers, or their organisation’s own library or documentation centre.

This is the draft first version of the bibliography and it is hoped that it will be regularly updated. A version will also be placed on International Alert’s web-page during 2000.

The bibliography is sub-divided into various areas, and bibliographic entries may appear twice if relevant to more than one topic. Where [ ] are used, details enclosed is these brackets did not appear on original the document.
