Sandra Fairbank 221 Mt. Auburn Street Resident Lowell Park and Hell's Half Acre two things: 1. A Giga bit wi-fi availability. We don't have even a decent internet service in residential hosing. Paid internet service in Northern Cambridge is a joke!! No quality dedicated Fiber optics - or DSL6,or any other stable non-shared capacity (a.k.a cable) internet service. This is affecting education in Cambridge too! 2. Public toilets + security cameras in open spaces. Like Minute man bike path ways would really use both of these items to make them more safe and enjoyable. Especially for kid and elderly or persons with PTSD that are threatened from unleashed dogs. With so many dogs attacks already on record it is time to bring safety back to public places for all residents. The toilets would be a relief for Wafik Farag 2456 Mass. I'm writing in strong support of the Cambridge Plant & Garden Sam Feigenbaum 40 Clay St Resident Club's application for funding for the rehabilitation of Lowell Park. Lowell Memorial Park (Open Space AND Historical, the best!) Hell's Half Acre (Open Space AND Historical, Jan Ferrara 195 Resident the best, again!)

I had proposed over two years ago a walkway from the end of Madison Ave @ Columbus and the intersection of rt 16 and Mass Ave it is a regular path for comuters. I would like to add more island planting on Mass.Ave heading into Cambridge. It would be another great use of open land if the City would negoicate with DCR to improve the grass and plantings along the grass strip between Rt 16 and Columbus Ave/Seagrave Rd State Rep Dave Rodgers has done the ground work to get this going. As for any purchase of open land for GARDENS it is a wast of tax payer money given all the DCR land in N cambridge that is under utalized. Rember if it abbuts a city sidewalk it has to be kept clear all winter by the city E Thomas Flynn 25 Madison Ave Resident another added expense. Use what we have for free. Hell's Half Acre I go through that section of woods regularly, biking, and running. Maybe 15 times a week. I do not feel it is threatening, or avoided. It is often overgrown, but that’s nature… Yes you have to deal with the homeless who live back there for periods of time, but they have never been threatening either. I often pass other runners or bikers back there, just finding an idyllic little wooded section to slow down, and relax a bit. My preference would be finish off the greenway, with the formal path running along the road, and a secondary DIRT path through the woods. Please do not make an 8’ wide paved road Robert Woodward 48 Russell Street, Cambridge Resident through the woods! That would destroy it character completely. Just my opinion! We have so much history here in Cambridge and I think a lot of people take it for granted. We need to Mary Ellen Wynn 6 Bond Street #2 Resident protect our heritage!
