Perfection Courses The guitar perfection courses held at Pordenone have represented for twenty years a spotlight for guitarists on an international scale. This is demonstrated by countless prestigious achievements and acknowledgements obtained by the school’s students throughout the years. Our didactic principle is founded upon the search for maximal spontaneity within every musical and expressive event. Therefore, to us technique consists in the ability of knowing how to use the body in its most natural way, free to perform the appropriate gestures that help the musician fulfill the ideas found in the music score. To interpret means to feel, to desire, to understand and to realize. A large part of the interpreter’s research is consequently carried out analyzing all the objective and subjective elements that blend into the creation of sound, therefore making compositions live, translating sensations and emotions suggested by the notes, liberating music as it is and as it is heard. Courses Individual courses are held by Maestros Adriano Del Sal Biennal perfecting master and Paolo Pegoraro, chamber music courses are held by with final diploma; the Trio Nahual. 18 lessons per year, complying with the biennial study programme. Winner of prestigious competitions, he performs regularly at major festivals throughout Europe, USA, South America, Africa and Asia. Paolo also loves to teach and so much founded with his wife Angela Tagliariol, and six collegues that studied with him, the Segovia Guitar Academy, a school established and recognized internationally, which has students from various countries around the world. Many students develop themselves at his school, play assiduous concerts, winning over the years more than 150 awards at major national and international competitions (Pittaluga of Alessandria, Tárrega of Benicassim, Arcas of Almeria, Segovia of La Herradura, Parkening of Malibù, Sor of Rome, Gargnano). He was the creator and artistic director of the Pordenone Guitar Festival held in Pordenone for 18 years. He is often invited to be part of juries for musical and guitar competitions, both in Italy and abroad. He also gives regular masterclasses all around the world. From 2010 he his teacher at the “Universitat für Musik und darstelende Kunst” in Graz (Austria). He has several recordings and the CD “Solo” has received enthusiastic reviews; in particular, the German magazine “Gitarre & Laute” declared “... the discovery of the year”. For his last CD, he was awarded with “La chitarra d’oro” at the Alessandria Guitar Convention, as the best CD of the year (2010). Born in Bassano del Grappa August 9, 1968, he began to study music at a very early age, quickly demonstrating a distinct talent and receiving from his family an environment rich in musical stimuli. He graduated with highest honors from the Conservatory “B. Marcello” in Venice in the class of T. de Nardis. He consecutively frequented masterclasses of Manuel Barrueco and David Russell, as well as receiving the “Diploma di Merito” at the Chigiana Academy of Siena in Oscar Ghiglia’s Class. In 2010 he became of part of “D’Addario family”. ”Paolo plays the notes as a series of pearls, clear one after another and now is the extraordinary thing: he has pearls of all sizes and all shades of color, he puts together in a way that will produce a effect of strong compact- ness and harmony. Paolo follows his musical ideas without compromise: accelerating, and evaporates the sentence where it is necessary for reasons of musical logic and not because of technical problems. Artista estraneo ad ogni forma di divismo, di vastissima cultura che, come ben sanno tutti coloro che hanno avuto la fortuna di conoscerlo, concepiva la musica come una missione. La nobiltà del suo pensiero ha costantemente illuminato ogni espressione del suo percorso di concertista, didatta e musicologo. Interprete applaudito nei maggiori centri d’Europa e del Sud America, Emilio Pujol si impose all’attenzione della critica per l’assoluta padronanza tecnica e l’elegante raffinatezza del fraseggio. Determinante e di fondamentale importanza per la conoscenza della musica spagnola, è il suo apporto musicologico sulla vihuela e i vihuelisti del Siglo de Oro . Le sue numerose trascrizioni in notazione moderna (Seis Libros de Delfin , Valladolid 1538, di Luys de Narvaez; Tres Libros en cifra para vihuela , Sevilla 1546, di Alonso Mudarra; Selva de Sirenas , Valladolid 1547, di Enriquez de Valderrabano) pubblicate per la collana Monumenti della Musica Spagnola , sono una tangibile e preziosa testimonianza. Nella sua poliedrica attività di musicista, trova largo spazio l’insegnamento verso cui si sente istintivamente attratto. Nel 1940 è docente di vihuela presso il Conservatorio di Barcelona, nel 1946 docente di chitarra al Conservatorio di Lisbona e, nello stesso anno, all’École Normale de Musique di Parigi, chiamato dal suo fondatore Alfred Cortot.

    Filomena Moretti apre la XXIX edizione del festival della chitarra Con la chitarrista sarda, prende il via uno degli appuntamenti irrinunciabili dell’estate cittadina organizzato dal Centro culturale “Fernando Sor” Appuntamento ormai irrinunciabile dell’estate cittadina, è pronto a partire il Festival internazionale di chitarra giunto quest’anno alla sua XXIX edizione. La rassegna, che come sempre si svolgerà nella suggestiva cornice delSalone del Parlamento, sul colle del castello di Udine, inizierà mercoledì 6 giugno alle 20.30 con la chitarrista Filomena Moretti, che con assoluta eleganza interpretativa e straordinario senso poetico della frase musicale spazierà da A. Mudarra a J. Rodrigo, soffermandosi su G. Sanz e F. Tárrega. Filomena Moretti, classe 1973, all’età di 18 anni si diploma in chitarra con il massimo dei voti e la lode presso il Conservatorio “Luigi Canepa”della sua città, Sassari. Si forma ed prosegue gli studi con il Maestro Ruggero Chiesa. Giovanissima vince importanti premi nazionali e internazionali (Mondovì, Stresa, Roma, Gargano, Alessandria, etc.) Nel 1993 frequenta l’Accademia Chigiana di Siena sotto la guida del Maestro Oscar Ghiglia ottenendo una borsa di studio e diploma di merito. Si perfeziona poi con D. Russel, A. Diaz, J. Bream, O. Ghiglia, M. Barrueco, J. Tomàs e molti altri. Ha suonato per importanti istituzioni musicali: Società di Concerti di Milano, Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzese, Serate Musicali in Sardegna, Ente Musicale di Nuoro e in prestigiose Sale da Concerto delle città di Amburgo, Wolfsburg, Berlino, Kiel, Biaystok, Olsztyn, Varsavia e Cracovia. Ha suonato per la Radio-TV Bulgara e annovera nel suo repertorio i più importanti concerti per chitarra e orchestra.

Tartini I SOLISTI VENETI - ENSEMBLE VIVALDI con la partecipazione di FILOMENA MORETTI Un felice sodalizio quello tra “I Solisti Veneti”, diretti dal Maestro Giuliano Carella, e una tra le più celebri musiciste contemporanee di chitarra classica: Filomena Moretti. Sodalizio che si rinnova il 10 giugno alle ore 21.00 a Treviso, nel Museo Chiesa di Santa Caterina, coinvolgendo per l’occasione il celebre “Ensemble Vivaldi”, nucleo d’archi selezionato in seno all’Orchestra che, più di ogni altra, è ambasciatrice della musica classica -in particolar modo di quella veneta- nel mondo. La serata musicale del 10 giugno, che si terrà in ottemperanza alle normative sanitarie vigenti, propone al pubblico un programma di marcato carattere virtuosistico proponendo alcuni brani firmati dai molti compositori annoverati tra i cavalli di battaglia dei Solisti: Antonio Vivaldi (Venezia, 4 marzo 1678 – Vienna, 28 luglio 1741), Niccolò Paganini (Genova, 27 ottobre 1782 – Nizza, 27 maggio 1840) e Giuseppe Tartini (Pirano, 1692 – Padova, 1770). Tartini, Maestro delle Nazioni, compositore e Maestro di Cappella alla Basilica del Santo di Padova, di cui si sono appena concluse le celebrazioni del 250º anniversario della morte, la cui riscoperta nonché trascrittura di molte sue pagine, è largamente dovuta al maestro Claudio Scimone, padre fondatore dei Solisti Veneti. A questo terzetto di luminosi compositori il programma della serata aggiunge anche l’austriaco Franz Joseph Haydn (Rohrau, 31 marzo 1732 – Vienna, 31 maggio 1809), da sempre molto amato dall’Orchestra.
