Albatros C.XII C.XII prototypes German Army Air Service, C.9313/17 C.XII prototypes, German Army Air Service, 1917 Latvia WW1 This was the second of three prototypes. It crashed at Latvia on 10 June 1917, killing the pilot Leutnant Erich Lindemann.

Armstrong Whitworth A.W.41 Albemarle Albemarle ST Mk V , 297 Squadron V1823 Albemarle ST Mk V, Royal Air Force, 297 Squadron Mid 1944 Brize Norton, UK WW2 (Europe) The Special Transport version of the Albemarle was used for glider towing. The red fuselage bar was the squadron's identification marking. The aircraft has the red "A" Flight wheel covers and hub.

Royal Air Force, 41 Squadron J8386 X IIIA, Royal Air Force, 41 Squadron 1927 Northolt, UK In May 1924, 41 Squadron became the first unit to operate the Siskin. In March 1927 they reequipped with the Siskin IIIA. J8386, flown by Fg Off Andrews, came fourth in the Sir Philip Sasson Cup, May 1927.

Douglas XB‐19 XB‐19 USAAF, 38‐471 XB‐19, USAAF, Jan 1942 Santa Monica, California XB‐19 was completed in May 1941 and first flew in June. Originally finished in natural metal it was painted in camouflage soon after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour.
