Professor Pawlowicz, who in addition to being a MP is also a judge, lecturer and a former Constitutional Judge, made her comments in reaction to Saturday’s ‘Slut March’ which saw several hundred people walk from Pl. Trzech Krzyzy to Pl. Konstytucji to raise the profile of the issue of rape and to protest at what they saw Jacek Wajszczak/Reporter as the stereotyping of both victims and © perpetrators of rape. The march certainly achieved its goal of raising awareness of the protestors’ cause Many of the protestors wore little clothing, lots of make-up and had slogans as looking “like a boxer”, saved her most form of contributing. • Factors Affecting the Value of Football Players in the Transfer Market
Journal of Physical Education and Sport ®(JPES),Vol 21 (Suppl. issue 2), Art 145 pp 1150 – 1155, Apr. 2021 online ISSN: 2247 - 806X; p-ISSN: 2247 – 8051; ISSN - L = 2247 - 8051 © JPES Original Article Factors affecting the value of football players in the transfer market ADAM METELSKI Institute of Socio-Economics, Poznan University of Economics and Business, POLAND Published online: April 30, 2021 (Accepted for publication April 15, 2021) DOI:10.7752/jpes.2021.s2145 Abstract: The transfer of a football player for over 100 million EUR has been nothing extraordinary in recent years. In general football clubs are spending increasing amounts of money on player transfers. This applies to both the leading leagues in Europe and those at a lower level. Only in 2020, was there a slowdown in both club spending and revenues due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Contrary to what people outside the world of football often say, the amounts of money involved in the transfers are not irrational. Based on the literature on the subject, the value of a player is determined, among other things, by his position on the pitch, age, year of transfer, and achievements. This study is based on the top Polish football league – the Ekstraklasa. The study analyzed all transfers in the history of this league of at least one million EUR and so far, 108 such transfers have been made. The study aimed to determine the factors that differentiate the value of football players. The results show that most transfers from the Ekstraklasa are made among players aged 21-24.

The article attempts to answer the question about assessing the budget size of individual football federations for the level of national leagues. The quality of national competitions largely determines the chances of a high place in the UEFA cup and additionally translates into the number of teams that take part in the competition. Taking the above into account, it can be assumed that the budget size of the national leagues football teams is positively correlated with their high achievements in UEFA competitions.
