December Language Available Online The December 2020 issue of Language is available online at Project MUSE. Please see the Table of Contents, with clickable links to the latest research published in our flagship journal. To read the articles, you will need to be logged in using your institution's online credentials or the Project MUSE login portal for LSA members.

All LSA members have access to online issues of Language going back twenty years, to 2001.

Publications News The editorial team of Semantics & Pragmatics is pleased to announce that, as of January 1, 2021, the journal is moving from an optionally double- blind to a double-blind only reviewing policy, in line with other LSA journals. See our revised Peer Review Statement for details.

The editors of Language are pleased to announce the appointment of Jessi Grieser (University of Tennessee) as Book Review Editor, replacing outgoing Editor Lauren Squires (The Ohio State University). In addition the following have been appointed Associate Editors of the journal:

Lisa Cheng (University of Leiden) Meredith Tamminga (University of Pennsylvania) Graeme Trousdale (University of Edinburgh)

Cheng, Tamminga, and Trousdale replace Khalil Iskarous (University of Southern California), Lisa Travis (McGill University), and David Willis (University of Oxford). The LSA thanks all the departing staff for their excellent service.

The 21st Century Index to Language has now been updated to include all content through calendar year 2020.

LSA Awards and Honors The LSA is delighted to announce the winners of several awards, including the Leonard Bloomfield Book Award. Meet the winners and read more about the awards.

In addition, nine LSA members will be inducted as Fellows in recognition of their distinguished contributions to the discipline. Read more about the new Fellows.

On January 22, authors Diane Brentari () and Terra Edwards (Saint Louis University), will discuss their article, FEELING : The conventionalization of phonology in protactile communities in the , which appeared in the December 2020 issue of the LSA's flagship journal, Language. Then, on February 12, authors Anne H. Charity Hudley (University of California, Santa Barbara), Christine Mallinson (University of Maryland Baltimore County), and Mary Bucholtz (University of California, Santa Barbara), will discuss their article, Toward racial justice in linguistics: Interdisciplinary insights into theorizing race in the discipline and diversifying the profession, from the Perspectives section of Language with some of their respondents.
