Gary Morgan, Loran Skinkis, and Michael "Frick" Weber

Best known work: The Field on the Edge of the Woods

At the end of the day (which is usually when we're able to work on this) we're 3 guys who have some dreams, some talent, and hopefully some great stories to tell. THE FIELD ON THE EDGE OF THE WOODS is the first of many, and our way of introducing ourselves to the industry and the rest of the story teller (and reader) world.

Pittsburgh SteelMan has teamed up with illustrator Loran Skinkis to create Pittsburgh's newest “Real Hero Saga” based on the adventures of “SteelMan, Pittsburgh's Official Super Hero”. The SteelMan is anticipating to have available the second issue of the SteelMan Serialized at the 2010 New Dimension Pittsburgh Comics and Collectibles Show. The SteelMan Series is like no other comic series you will ever read because it is based on real life events and there will be a level of controversy never seen before in graphic novel media. The Steel Man story is written by SteelMan and illustrated by

Loran Skinkis. SteelMan promises many twists and surprises with his graphic novel that will culminate in an ending you’ll never forget. SteelMan is “The World’s First and Only Ever Post Industrial Anti-hero” and his comic series illustrates the life of a Real Life Anti-Hero in a city that has two faces. The SteelMan story will tell his story from his perspective and the reader will be free to judge the truth not told to the Steel City and hid from the people. Read the story that the Pittsburgh media could not or would not ever tell - Read The SteelMan Story. This story is not like any other you will read because unlike all other comic books at The 2010 New Dimension Pittsburgh Comics and Collectibles Show this is the story that SteelMan never wanted to write . . . but he had no choice.

The Steel Man Series is Rated M for mature because of the adult subject matter. Because of SteelMan’s immense popularity with the youth of Pittsburgh, the Steel Man has teamed up with new and upcoming artist Matt Ketchum to create another new and original comic series that is intended for children of all ages. The story is written by Carol Lynn Vicini and edited by SteelMan and published by Pittsburgh Steel Man, Ind. Media, Inc. which anticipates to also have the Steel Dog Comic available at the 2010 New Dimension Pittsburgh Comics and Collectibles Show. www.pittsburghsteelman.com
