Philanthropy Report 2019-20 Stronger Together Who We Are As the story goes, in 1961, four Presbyterian ministers decided that they would be stronger together when they combined their efforts to create the organization that would eventually become National Residences. Here we are, nearly 60 years later, and National Church Residences still recognizes the value of collaboration, partnerships, and the resolve that can be strengthened when we come together. 2020 has proved to be a very challenging year for everyone. Our nation and our organization faced some dark days. This pandemic certainly took its toll on so many of us; however, our donors and volunteers showed us how powerful unity can be in times of crisis.

We experienced numerous ways that our supporters went above and beyond in these challenging times.

In light of the cancellation of our signature fundraising event, the Golf Classic, several of our sponsors came together and decided to donate their support of this event to our mission. Spiritual care is good health care and in this pandemic and time of civil unrest, emotional maladies can run high, but many are finding hope and peace through the faithful ministry of our frontline chaplains.

Philanthropy at Work GRANT APPLICATIONS FOR The COVID-19 pandemic has been a life changing event for the world and especially those whom National Church COVID-19 RELIEF BY THE Residences has been entrusted to serve. Legacy Giving Post-Acute Regional Rapid Testing Program What will my legacy be? Many donors have a desire to be remembered for the change they made in the world and the impact they had on the lives around them. Helping a donor shape and create a legacy is one of the most important and rewarding aspects of life as a fundraising professional. Truist Financial Corporation - Atlanta Sponsorship Support National Church Residences was the recipient of a $20,000 grant from Truist Financial Corporation.
