The Apostle Paul said to the Ephesian church, “…God works all things according to the counsel of His will” (Eph.1:11). So, let us resign our wills to His and prepare our minds for what He has in store. Our Summer Camp Meeting is a time that we not only look forward to warm fellowship, but also inspirational preaching in a relaxed environment. That is what we should expect during this online gathering. Our theme for this conference is, “A Work in Progress.” This thought was derived from Philippians 1:6 which reads, “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” The church has been scattered for more than a year and it feels to some like it is losing ground and the Lord’s work is almost at a halt. A Gallup survey has suggested that the pandemic will have a long-term detrimental impact, and some may never return to the church. They further suggest that “Christianity will have to adjust to an ever-smaller piece of the spiritual pie.” I refuse to accept these findings because it was God who started this work, and He is well able to finish what He instituted. We have the amazing privilege of continuing in the work that God started! Our nation remains increasingly divided and the gap in ideologies is getting wider. However, Jesus is still the answer, and the church is the only hope of this world. This conference promises to inspire and challenge us (the church of the living God) to continue in the work we are called to do. So, gather with your family and friends, reach out to your neighbors, and invite them all to join you for this 2021 Virtual Camp Meeting. Thank you in advance for your prayers and support, and I hope this virtual experience will be a blessing to you and exceed your expectations. Sincerely, Bishop James E. VIRTUAL CAMP MEETING 2021 - “Work in Progress” page-8 HOW TO STREAM TO YOUR TV HOW TO CONNECT YOUR TV TO THE INTERNET USING MIRRORING • Open the mirroring option on your TV – set your TV to mirror; (it will then await the mirroring connection.) • Open the mirroring feature/launch your mirroring app on your Android device – click start (please note – both your TV and device must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.) • If your TV doesn’t natively support mirroring, you’ll need an app such as Chromecast or screencast. HOW TO CONNECT YOUR TV WITH AN INTERNET STREAMING DEVICE What you’ll need: Media box/streaming player; Broadband connection (2 MBPS and above); Wi-Fi router; Ethernet cable, HDMI cable or VGA (Video Graphics Array)/Audio cable Media boxes/streaming devices have built-in preprogrammed apps and channels (such as the BBC iPlayer, HULU, ITV Player, Netflix and so on). This will allow the device to act as a Freeview box which hooks up to your Wi-Fi. The exact step-by-step will differ from device to device (so make sure you read the instructions – or hit YouTube for a visual walkthrough). However, all of them will involve plugging the device directly into the TV using either the USB port or HDMI port. Some of the most popular streaming players include Roku, Apple TV 4K, Chromecast, and Nvidia TV Shield. HOW TO CONNECT YOUR TV TO THE INTERNET USING A PC/LAPTOP • Place your laptop/PC close to your TV.
