Wong-Ervin* Federal Trade Commission Investigations and litigation involving standard-essential patents (SEPs) have begun to spring up around the globe. On April 29, 2014, the European Commission (EC) confirmed that it adopted two decisions, one involving Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. and the other involving Motorola Mobility Inc. (MMI), that for the first time in the European Union (EU), establish a framework for determining whether and under what circumstances patent owners seeking to enforce SEPs in the European Economic Area (EEA) may violate EU antitrust laws. Both decisions create a “safe harbor” approach from injunctive relief, under which implementers can demonstrate that they are a “willing licensee” by agreeing that a court or a mutually agreed arbitrator shall adjudicate the fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory (FRAND) terms in the event that negotiations fail. The decisions do not preclude injunctive relief for FRAND-encumbered SEPs per se, nor do they make findings on the definition of a “willing licensee” outside the safe harbor.1 While the EC’s approach is similar to the approach taken by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) in MMI/Google, there are differences. For example, the EC’s decisions preclude injunctions only in the EEA, and only on patents granted in the EEA, whereas the FTC’s consent decree in MMI/Google covers patents issued or pending in the United States or anywhere else in the world. Pilgrimage is an old practice of travelling to the sacred places such as temples, mosques, churches and shrines etc. Religious tourism mixes pilgrimage and features of tourism and is considered a tool for sustainability, change and peace building among communities. It is particularly important for India being the fastest growing segment of tourism and given the fact that the whole country is dotted with important religious sites and is known for largest congregation in the world as in the case of Mahakumbh. While each state of country has a unique mix of religious tourism but the state of Jammu and Kashmir have a wonderful mix of Hindu, Muslim and Sikh religions sites though it is known more for Vaishno Devi shrine and Amarnath yatra. Kashmir Valley in this state is popularly known for its natural beauty and leisure tourism than religious tourism despite the high resources for religious tourism. This study is an attempt to identify and map the religious tourist resources in Kashmir valley. The nature of the study is exploratory and to find answers to queries raised through objectives both primary and secondary data has been used. The mapping of the sites highlighted that Kashmir has a mixture of different religious attractions and some of these attractions are located in close vicinity to one another.

Editors are expected to hold the piv- otal role in media integrity protection, but in practice editors in Bosnia and Herzegovina mainly keep a low-profile and rarely get either major public re cog- nition or critique. The general circumstances in the media sector are inevita- bly taking their toll on the role and position of editors. Political parallelism has never decreased. The media are often part of networks of conflicting relations and financially dependent on a few sources of revenue, while profit is often the only guiding principle of media operations. All of this inevitably determines the policies behind the appointment of media editors, the circumstances under which they work and ultimately the role they perform. This research report aims at outlining the position and the role of media editors in BIH. It is based on a research study conducted from March to May 2016, involving review of secondary sources, five in-depth interviews and a small-scale survey,1 all aiming to outline the patterns of labour status, profes- sional credentials, socio-economic position, political background and appoint- ments of editors. The sections below are organised around these main issues. Before going into the current situation of editors, one should first recall the recent history.
