2009 will be fine With every New Year we get a chance to start all over. In 2009 we have no choice but to take an optimistic approach after seeing our country go through hard times in 2008. Let's start fresh this year and hope both our country and the econ- omy will start to improve. We are starting with many new changes and none more meaningful than a new president to take the reigns this month. We all have resolutions this year and let's hope our new pres- ident does as well. This historic change should be a signal to all of us that we can accomplish anything as long as we work hard and never stop trying to achieve whatever we put our minds to. That is why this year breeds a new optimism that in years past may not have been as prevalent. We have hope this New Year and we need to embrace all these changes and start trust- ing our country again. Most important is the resolve we should all have and look at the glass as half full instead of half empty. It will take this type of approach to get our country back on track as well as the economy. The truly inspiring thought we as Americans should feel is embarking on a time when we can not just hope to achieve something, but know anything is in our reach. No matter how tough times have become, as long as we believe in ourselves and our country, we can do anything, from getting that new job to keeping our resolutions for bettering ourselves this year. k There are so many examples we can feed off of, and the big- gest should be hope. Your perception determines your reality and what better time to take an optimistic approach than right now. Americans are known for their resolve and ability to bounce back from anything. We bond when times are tough and we saw that play out in 2008. Now that we start 2009 with a fresh slate, it's time to believe in change for the better. So, when you start to assess your resolutions this year, no matter what it is, remember, we as a nation can do anything and if one thing rings loud this year its change. Let's hope 2009 is truly fine. Help wanted Dear prospective business partner: ing.
