Community Involvement WRRQ Collective - Co-Founder 2013-present WRRQ is an intergenerational community of queer and transgender artists and activists in NYC. Our wrrq together include visual art, music, drag and video. We also organize community dinners, clothing swaps, vigils, street actions and movement building. Depending on the project, there are 10 to 50 collective members working together at any given time.

Professional Experience

Co-Director, Arts in the Woods 2013-present Annual retreat where WRRQ Collective artists work closely with young people who are actively dealing with, or have overcome, homelessness.

Program Coordinator, Sylvia's Place 2006-2016 Served 10 years as a client service assistant/program coordinator performing direct care service to at-risk homeless LGBTQI young adults. ● Created core programing and enrichment services dedicated to empower the lives of those affected by homelessness and survival work and those living with HIV/AIDS. ● Created a transgender affinty group:Trans In Action which focused on the trans rights movement/lgbtq history and media representation ● Coordinator of the charities hiv testing and counseling programs/needles exchange programs ● Collaborated with various media conduits to address the effects of homelessnes and media representation of Trans people
