The unprepared French forces hurried to strap on their armor plates and lock their visors into place, hoping these would protect them from the lethal rain their enemies brought against them, and hurried across the sodden field to meet the glistening blades of their foes, even as arrows descended upon them like hail. The slaughter that followed, which has come to be known as the battle of Agincourt, remains one of the most iconic and infamous engagements of the Middle Ages, with archers and knights in shining armor slaughtering each other in the thousands. For many of these soldiers, armor and skill were their only defenses against the assaults of their enemies, so it was fortunate that by the time of Agincourt armor design had become truly impressive.     The Corgi Quarterly Talks With Margaret Sullivan TALBOT Pacific Palisades, California This interview was conducted at the home of Margaret Sullivan on June 27, 1987 by Nancy Rogell. Did you grow up with dogs? Yes, we had both dogs and cats, pedigreed and show-quality animals. My father was a secretary for a German Shepherd club in Vancouver, British Columbia. As a young girl, I'd exercise dogs for people and look after them at the benched shows, which they had at that time. I have always been around animals that were bred for quality. My grandfather was the trainer and breeder for Will Roger's polo ponies. As some may remember, the polo team in the late twenties and thirties was quite prominent internationally. My grandfather taught me how to breed good animals. Did your father show? We used to show German Shepherds. A friend and neighbor also showed them. She had one of the first Pembrokes brought over from England. Her Pembroke, Tuffy, didn't get along with her Shepherds. My Shepherd had just died so she decided I should have Tuffy; this was my introduction to Corgis. He became a Canadian and American champion and was a very well-known dog in Canada and the US. This was in the thirties. Did you continue in Corgis from there? By then I had various other interests; I was a "regular" teenager and went to school and college; I didn't really think about raising animals until after I was married and had children. One of my sons wanted a dog, so I decided to buy him a Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

Dexter Sinister is the compound name of Stuart Bailey and David Reinfurt, who operate at the intersection of graphic design, publishing and contemporary art. This memory stick, UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS, is released parallel to an exhibition in 2015 at Kunstverein München called ON A UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS. The four projects on this drive each play in one of the Kunstverein’s four main spaces surrounded by a number of related objects. The four projects on the Bus are as follows: (1) ‘IDENTITY’ – an MP4 of a three-screen projection from 2011 which lasts for 22 minutes. (2) TRUE MIRROR MICROFICHE – an MP4 of a single-channel video from 2009 which lasts for 12 minutes and 17 seconds. (3) WORK-IN-PROGRESS – a software application of a strange clock that turns on a 16 second loop, together with THEME FROM THE LAST SHoT CLOCK, an MP3 which lasts for 17 minutes. (4) LETTER & SPIRIT – an MP4 of a single-channel animation from 2014 which lasts for 18 minutes and 30 seconds. And then I am the one driving this Bus. My file name is README – an MP4 of a voice-synthesized text which lasts for 4 minutes and 22 seconds. I am speaking the words you're listening to right now; in which case, let me also introduce myself. I was born back in 2011, in an essay by Angie Keefer that wonders what it might mean to communicate without language.
