9 EN 14592 Approved fasteners ETA Eurocode 5
in accordance with EN 14592 / DIN 1052
All KMR fasteners relevant for timber structural work bear the CE-label in accordance with Eurocode 5. The according documents and DoPs, ETA etc are available on www.kmr-group.eu or can be requested at EN 14592 our customer service. Eurocode 5
Smooth shank nails KMR smooth shank nails comply with EN 14592 (tensile strength of the nail wire, head diameter etc.) The nails are resinated, depending on length. Smooth shank nails in accordance with EN 14592 do not require any further approvals (see CE mark).
Anchor nails KMR anchor nails are special nails in accordance with EN 14592 and can be used for fastening wooden connectors approved by the building authorities. Anchor nails made of stainless steel (A2/1.4301) are available on request. CE certificates are available.
Ring shank nails KMR ring shank nails up to nominal diameter 4.6 mm are special nails in accordance with EN 14592. They may be used in timber structures for connecting boards made of wooden materials. CE certificates are available.
Staples H 12,3 KMR staples H comply with the conditions of EN 14592 and DIN 1052 10. They may be used in timber structures for connecting wooden components as well as for load bearing connections of boards L made of wooden material. Chipboard screws KMR chipboard screws with the CE marking have been tested on the basis of the European Technical Approval (ETA). An approval document is available on request.
Drywall Screws KMR drywall screws comply with the requirements of EN 14566. The drywall screws can be used for faste- ning plasterboard and gypsum fibre boards. The drywall screws are rationally driven using KMR Magazine screwdriverss.
Ring shank board KMR ring shank board nails (key head nails) comply with the requirements of EN 14566. The ring shank nails board nails can be used for fastening plasterboard and gypsum fibre boards. The ring shank board nails are rationally driven using the KMR coil magazine nailers type 3558.
Staples 11,7 KMR staples G (38–64 mm), D (29–41 mm), C (29 + 32 mm), E (30–40 mm) and Q (45–63 mm) comply G, D, C, KG G 11.70 with the requirements of EN 14566. These staples can be used for fastening plasterboard and D 11.00 L C 5.85 gypsum fibre boards. KG 11.10

11. Compensation for breaches of duty 11.1 The Supplier is liable without limitation in accordance with legal guidelines for Ahrensburg, 1 September 2015 damages occurring as a result of wilful intent or gross negligence. Excluded hereto is contractual violation due to gross negligence by simple vicarious agents, whereby liability shall be limited to predictable and typically occurring damage. 11.2 The Supplier shall be liable for damages from simple negligence if this breaches a material contractual obligation. Material contractual obligations are particularly those which are required in order to achieve the purpose of the contract and on which the customer may rely. In this instance, liability is limited to predictable and typically occurring damage. This liability is limited to a maximum amount of 2500 euros. This maximum liability amount shall also apply once more in the event of multiple breaches of duty (maximum overall amount).
