The Project will be managed by Ramsey County. The proposed project seeks to improve the safety and capacity at the Maryland Avenue/Edgerton Street intersection. The Maryland/Edgerton intersection is on the City's top ten list for the highest number of intersection related crashes. Left turn crashes account for a large portion of the total number of crashes. This project will dramatically reduce the potential for the most dangerous and injury prone collisions to occur, i.e. those related to left turn movements.

Similar to the past projects, the proposed project is a cooperative project between the City and Ramsey County, with the County taking the lead role.
