* 6 Days 5 Nights Beautiful East Hokkaido Tour * Private Tour Min. 10 Pax Travel Daily Departure Day 1 Arrival in Chitose – Tokachigawa (Dinner) Welcome to Chitose Arrive in Chitose airport, welcome and assist by our local representative for your transfer to Tokachigawa, well-known for its extremely comforting spa resorts. Check-in at an Onsen Resort and pamper yourself in a relaxing hot spring bath. Day 2 Tokachigawa – Ikeda – Akan Mashu National Park (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Ikeda Winery and Scenic Lakes Start your day with a tour to Ikeda Town. Visit Ikeda Wine Castle, a wine factory which developed and manufactured delicious Tokachi wine. You will witness the different process of winemaking and get the opportunity to sample the wine. Thereafter, proceed to Akan Mashu National Park, best-known for its three beautiful caldera lakes. Visit Lake Mashu, known to have the clearest waters in the world, offers a mysterious scenery, surrounded by beautiful cliffs. Followed by Lake Kussharo, which is the largest lake in the park. End your day at an Onsen Resort in Lake Akan. Day 3 Akan Mashu National Park – Abashiri – Shiretoko (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Museums Hopping and UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site This morning set off to Abashiri. Visit Abashiri Prison Museum, constructed in the 1890s to hold more than one thousand dangerous criminals. The Abashiri Prison Museum illustrates the daily life of prisoners and exhibits more than a dozen buildings and structures of the old prison. Continue tour to Mount Tento to enjoy a 360- degree view of the Okhotsk Sea. Visit Okhotsk Ryu-hyo Museum, where you can experience the real drift ice in the -15°C cooling room and meet mysterious sea creatures that live among the ice. Thereafter, head off to Shiretoko. Discover the beauty of nature as you explore Shiretoko Goko Lakes, famous for its five beautiful lakes, untouched forests and the Shiretoko mountain range. It was designated as a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in 2005. Day 4 Shiretoko – Kitami – Sounkyo (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Fox Village and the Beauty of Sounkyo Today, embark on a journey to Kitami. Visit Kitakitsune Farm, also known as Hokkaido Fox Village, to get a closer look at the adorable Hokkaido foxes. After lunch, depart for Sounkyo. Soak in the beauty of the majestic waterfalls, resembling a Chinese painting; Ginga-no-taki (Milky Way Falls) and Ryusei-no-taki (Shooting Star Falls), located alongside each other in the Daisetsuzan National Park, surrounded by cliffs stretching for 25 kilometers along the Ishigari River. They were selected as one of the top 100 waterfalls in Japan. Thereafter, head to Kurodake Ropeway for a panoramic view over the Daisetsuzan Mountain Range and Sounkyo Gorge. Day 5 Sounkyo – Sapporo (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) Vibrant Sapporo Tour Bid farewell to Sounkyo, sit back and relax on your drive to Sapporo. Step into Shiroi Koibito Park, which houses a fairytale-themed park and a chocolate confectionery, well-known for its Shiroi Koibito (White Lover) cookies. Visit Odori Park to view the Sapporo TV Tower and Sapporo Clock Tower which was built in 1878. Explore Sapporo’s busiest main shopping area, Tanukikoji Shopping Street, a long-covered shopping street with around 200 outlets. In the evening, you may wish to explore the nightlife entertainment district – Susukino, neon-infused with shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment spots, ranging from jazz bars to dance clubs.
