MPs administered a series of field sobriety tests to the driver, which he failed. Further investigation of the vehicle revealed that the civilian sus- pect was in possession of illegal weapons. MPs confiscated the weapons and transported the suspect to the Military Police Department for processing. The suspect's blood alcohol content was .032%.

Traffic accident investigators responded to a hit and run incident. A 1988 Chevrolet crashed into three parked vehicles and fled the scene. Preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle was parked at a barracks, where MPs made contact with the operator. Further investigation revealed that the operator was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident and was under the legal age to drink alcohol. MPs apprehended the suspect and transported him to MPD, where he sub- mitted to a breath test resulting in BAC of .39%. The suspect was processed for hit and run and driving under the influence.
