Glencoe and Port MacDonnell open the A Grade major round action at Robe this after- noon with a winner hard to predict. Will reigning Mail Medallist Will MacDonald take the Bay Boys into the preliminary final or will dual Walker Medallist Matt Sinkunas guide his 101-year-old club into this contest? Will young gun Murphy forward Jace Weaver add to his impressive tally of 54 goals in 2011 or will the title of most dominant for- ward in the first semi final go to Demon teen Brodie Murdoch. 10 - 2011 MID SOUTH EAST FOOTBALL LEAGUE BUDGET www.msefl.com.au Phil Muhovics Memorial Cup

A large crowd was in attendance at Nangwarry last Saturday which saw Glencoe take out the inaugural Phil Muhovics Memorial Cup with a hard fought win over the home side. A minute silence was observed prior to the game by both sides, and in a closely fought contest the Nangwarry Saints certainly threw everything at Glencoe and it wasn’t until late in the second half that Glencoe were able to gain some ascendancy and come away with a reasonably com- fortable win. Dennis Muhovics made the presentations to winning captain Mark Kieselbach and coach Adam Price, while Nangwarry’s Nathan Reeves was awarded the Phil Muhovics Memorial Medal, as selected by the offici- ating umpires, who displayed the attributes of skill and good sportsman- ship.
