In fact, Khabbar has developed a special relation with most of the Konkani families and here are some examples of those close encounters of a different kind….…… Solving the quizzes in the Khabbar is not an easy task. Less the answer! And went on to say that this quiz belongs to easy than 10 people can solve it on a regular basis even though quiz part that Khabbar publishes to check whether the quite a few say that they did solve but did not submit the subscribers really read the newsletter along with the quiz or answers! Sometimes the quiz only 2 minutes!!!! looks easy, but it is not. Initials only on request if the writer includes his or her name. ****** Hello Ramesh Uncle and Vasanthmaam, We all wanted to thank you for the support towards the 2019 Konkani Young Adult Convention. The event ran very successfully, and everyone had a great time. Aspects of Konkani culture were discussed in a focus group; Sadanand Mam from Toronto had helped come up with the topics for that discussion. We also actively encouraged attendees to come to the 2020 Sammelan with their families. Attached is a write-up for Khabbar. As discussed earlier, we worked to raise our own funds to supplement the amount NAKA gave to support us. This was done through our independent fundraiser as well as a registration fee per attendee. Our goal was to ultimately donate some money back to NAKA as a token of appreciation for your support and for sustainability for future conventions. We currently have $1809.00 that we plan to send back. Additionally, a donor to our independent fundraiser, Dr. Ajanta Vinekar, donated directly to NAKA. The attendees truly enjoyed getting together and celebrating Konkani culture and heritage. I hope this tradition can be continued in the years to come.
