Accomplishments included bringing broadband into the homes of more than 200,000 low-income people, employing 1,500 youth as technology trainers and developing multi-lingual educational web properties used by more than 16 million individuals. • Directed external affairs activities including public policy, communications, marketing and fundraising efforts totaling more than $50M. • Directed corporate and business development, establishing programs and corporate partnerships with dozens of blue chip private sector, governmental and nonprofit organizations. • Directed Bring IT Home, a national public policy campaign which brought together the public, private, and nonprofit sectors to deliver high-speed Internet connectivity to more than $6 billion of affordable housing in 42 states.
