Denis Chamberlain, Chief Executive of RASE, was due to attend the July meeting at Ashow. Unfortunately for the Parish Council, he has been called to another meeting on that day by the Prince of Wales. He has now agreed to attend the September meeting at Stoneleigh. Parish Council Vice-Chairman I wish to advise you that Councillor Gordon Gatward has been elected as Vice-Chairman for the ensuing year. Through neighbourhood plans, local people now have the opportunity to shape new development as planning applications are determined in accordance with the development plan, unless material considerations indicate otherwise. The Warwick District Local Plan and the Baginton and Bubbenhall Neighbourhood Development Plan (once made) will be part of the statutory development plan for the area. The National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) is a material consideration in any planning application determinations. 1.3 Baginton and Bubbenhall Parish Councils decided to work together to prepare a joint Neighbourhood Development Plan to help determine planning applications in the two Parishes up to 2029.
