I would say if you like your characters chatty but also messed up then this is a good one to pick up, if you just want solid action and moody faces then probably look elsewhere. Then after reading the second issue, I decided I was in love enough with the series that I wanted to give it a try. True i was totally lost as to what was going on with starfire but around issue 3 or so they suddenly remembered that she does have a personality and not just some sex fiend. Ironically, the fantasy shots of a full Outlaws team that blends the cast from both volumes are the most engaging aspects, hinting at what could be in store for the future.
