Tahoe Donner Association Hires Tom O’Neil as New Financial Controller

Truckee, Calif. (August 31, 2020) – Tahoe Donner Association announced today the hire of Tom O’Neil as its new financial controller. O’Neil joins Tahoe Donner with over 20 years of finance and accounting experience, having worked with various homeowner associations, hotels and ski resorts.

Raised near Boston, Massachusetts, O’Neil earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Miami, Florida. His love for the outdoors and snow sports brought him to the North Tahoe area, where he has spent years investing his skillsets to improve local community business.

Most recently, O’Neil held the role of controller at PlumpJack Squaw Valley Inn since 2016. Previous positions include corporate controller for Granite Peak Management and various accounting roles with Squaw Valley Ski Corporation in Olympic Valley, and Raytheon Technologies in Andover, Massachusetts.

A resident of Tahoe City, California, O’Neil is passionate about skiing, mountain biking, playing ice hockey and investing time in his new hobby, disc golf. He is a proud father of two boys and husband to his wife of seven years.
