4. It is submitted that the GCC is regularly taking steps to clean the canal and other places. During the pandemic period some quantity of plastic wastes are mixed with the storm water drain and finally discharged into the canal. The accumulated plastic wastes has also been cleaned now.

5. It is submitted that the GCC is having Robotic Excavator for cleaning the canals and it is having the capacity to clean more than 5 tons of debris and plastic waste per day.

6. It is submitted that GcC has placed garbage bins (closing type) at west CIT Nagar, North Road, West Road, Subupillai Thottam, Gandhipuram, Shastri Nagar, Bharathidasan Street, Railway border I & II street which consist of 25 bins and it was cleared every day. The areas are sweeped by the sweepers regularly. and around 12 to 13 Battery Operating vehicles collecting door to door garbages from these households.
