ESCHBACH INVENTORY INDEX: 1662-1745
The earliest Eschbach inventory records are found in Haguenau 6E16 bundle 180, 1662-1745. The index to these records, created by Jean-Marie Klipfel, is found in Notariat Ancien De Haguenau (Inventaires) at the Archives of Bas-Rhin. The bottom of each page of the index is missing on the photocopies at the archives. The missing line(s) are in sections referred to as “Notes” or “References”, which often provide additional inventory, will, and marriage contract information. Margaretha, Maria, Catharina, and Barbara Würz were from Eschbach and married men from Soufflenheim according to the 1688 inventory of Georg Würz. Interpretation and translation by Mark Drexler, August 2016.
