Tulalip Tribes of Charitable Contributions,

On behalf of n Everett Foundation we thank you for your amazing support and your donation of in support of our programs.

Over the past four years, The Austen Everett Foundation has worked to inspire, empower and embolden the lives of over 500 children with cancer. Investments like yours have made it possible for us to create Honorary Team experiences for these kids that unites their fight with the strength and support of professional and collegiate athletes.

Since receiving your grant last year, we have put on some incredible events. The following report briefly describes the events we organized and the lives we touched through the last half of 2017.

8.24.2017 Seahawks Practice and Game vs Kansas City Chiefs: Five Honorary Captains

Five of our brave fighters, and their families, joined the for a Friday practice, including a special scrimmage with Michael Bennett. On Sunday they were then given VIP treatment at the game against the Kansas City Chiefs. 8.26.2017 Seattle Reign FC / Austen Everett Foundation Match Day: Twelve Honorary Captains

This was our biggest match of the year, against rival Portland. AEF and Seattle Reign FC honored the 12 team captains from the previous year, including two captains who stood in for their deceased siblings. The end of the 2017 season was epic for the Reign FC as they honored their 61st team captain.

9.16.2017 Seattle Sounders FC vs. FC Dallas Viewing Party: Twenty Honorary Captains

The Sounders FC event space, The NINETY, hosted 20 of our honorees, and their families, to watch a Sounders away game. Activities for our captains included Xbox games, championship poster creation and costume photo props.

9.27.2017 Seattle Sounders FC vs. FC: Honoring Joshua

Six-year-old Joshua was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia about 2 years ago and has been going through treatment ever since Honored by the Seattle Sounders, Joshua was treated to a private practice as well as a game-day locker room visit and flipping the coin at the captain’s coin toss. 10.1.2017 UW Women’s Soccer vs. Colorado University: Honoring Cierra

Cierra was diagnosed at age 14 with a brain tumor and has been fighting against it for over 2 years. Visiting the University of Washington’s Women’s Soccer team for a practice and game brought an illuminating smile to the cheerful teen. UW hosted 6 captains in their 2017 season.

10.19.2017 Austen Everett Foundation’s Unite2Fight Fundraiser

The NINETY hosted our annual fundraiser with over 140 attendees, including precocious cancer survivor Violet and Reign FC Forward Beverly Yanez. Violet and Beverly hosted a discussion about the struggles to fight cancer and the hope AEF renews in that battle.

12.10.2017 UW Men’s vs Gonzaga University: Honoring Miles

Nine-year-old Miles, battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, had a blast being honored by the University of Washington’s Men’s basketball team. His brother and family were able to enjoy the day with him, touring UW sports facilities, sitting courtside during warm ups and getting photos and signatures from all the players. 2018 has started off right where 2017 left off, with dozens of kids awaiting their exciting Honorary Captain event. Our past four years have seen us empower over 500 kids, renewing their hope in the fight of their life. We aim to empower another 200 kids this year, expanding our reach in Washington as well as around the country. Here at AEF we are continually being connected with new families and constantly working towards creating strong and meaningful connections between athletes and kids with cancer.

Your grant is continuing to be used in our efforts to support these young King and Snohomish County fighters, and as we look further into the year, we know many of these events would not be possible without your support. Below, you can see some of the events we have coming up that we are most excited for here at AEF.

• Seattle Sounders FC Game: The 2018 season starts March 4th and we will have captains at all home games this year. • Seattle Thunderbirds Game: A deserving hockey fan battling cancer will be honored in front of a hometown Thunderbird crowd. • : We have secured four dates to honor four of our fans during the 2018 season. • Plenty of UW Events: We are so thankful for the strong relationship we have created with many of the Husky Sport’s Teams and, as the second half of the school year kicks off, we are excited to continue working together in honoring a dozen young kids.

We are deeply touched by your generosity and honored that together we UNITE2FIGHT. We know that our efforts are only possible because of the contributions we receive from generous donors like you, and we thank you again for believing in and supporting our mission.
