2019 TECH HIGH SCHOOL Hall of Fame 2019 HALL OF FAME INDUCTION

Tech High School, founded in 1917, is well known for its great athletic and activities tradition. In 1986, we decided it was time to begin to recognize the contributions and achievements of the individuals that have helped develop “Tiger Pride”! Through the formation of the Tech Hall of Fame, our community and school have been able to begin to accomplish this goal.

Recognizing outstanding alumni not only gives us the opportu- nity to pay tribute to those who helped establish our traditions, but also gives our current students a knowledge of our school’s outstanding history- and a challenge to continue our traditions.

Today, October 10, 2019, is our eighth induction to Tech’s Hall of Fame. On the following pages are the biographies of our 16 inductees along with their picture.

A special thanks to the Hall of Fame Selection Committee and all who contributed to today’s induction. Although it is impossible to recognize everyone who has contributed, we especially want to recognize the efforts of the following people: Shelly Fruth (Ac- tivities Assistant), Dennis Voigt (Media), the Tech Alumni Asso- ciation, the Tech Captains/Leaders group, Tech’s custodial staff, Mayor Dave Kleis, and those listed on the program schedule on the next page. We also want to thank our former inductees whose contributions have made this special day possible. Tech Hall of Fame Day Schedule THURSDAY, OCT. 10 2019
