Jacob started slow and was behind in the frst set 3-4 when he settled in and played solid tennis winning 9 of the next 10 games. Our singles lineup surrendered a total of six games and our doubles lineup was one better surrendering just fve. Tyler Jabas teamed up with Owen Gilbertson for the frst time this season and they cruised getting the shutout at second doubles. Our third doubles team of Cole and Blake also started slow and ended up winning eight straight games to close it out. The guys are playing well and it was a good way to start a long, tough week where we will be playing fve matches. We go to Tech Tuesday to face a much improved Tiger team on their home courts.
