    UNIVERSIDAD COMPLUTENSE DE MADRID FACULTAD DE CIENCIAS DE LA INFORMACIÓN GRADO DE PERIODISMO FORGES: ESTUDIO LINGÜÍSTICO DE SUS VIÑETAS GRÁFICAS Por: Andrea Gómez Serrano Tutora: María Concepción Maldonado González TRABAJO DE FIN DE GRADO Madrid, 5 de Junio de 2020 Calificación obtenida: 10 RESUMEN Antonio Fraguas de Pablo, Forges (1942-2018), es uno de los grandes iconos del humor gráfico en España. Una de sus grandes aportaciones a la evolución de la viñeta gráfica fue la creación de un lenguaje propio, conocido como lenguaje forgiano. Este trabajo describe las características lingüísticas que definen su estilo a partir del modo de aparición del texto dentro de la viñeta y de las estrategias humorísticas empleadas para trasmitir sus mensajes. Consiste en una investigación empírica, por lo que se han examinado fuentes académicas y medios de comunicación para recopilar la información. Para ejemplificar el contenido del trabajo se ha llevado a cabo un barrido sistemático de todas las viñetas publicadas por Forges en el diario El País, del 22 de febrero de 2016 al 22 de febrero de 2018 (un total de 723 viñetas en dos años). El lenguaje forgiano se caracteriza por imitar los sonidos de la lengua en su registro coloquial. Así, a través del diálogo entre sus personajes, creó los famosos neologismos que acabaron adaptándose al lenguaje popular.
