FIFTY-EIGHT

A. Fruitless and pointless praying (58:1-5) B. He takes care of those who take care of others (58:6-12) C. Give honor to the Sabbath! Receive honor from the Savior (58:13-14)

FIFTY-NINE

A. He doesn’t have a short arm or a deaf ear! The problems is sin! (59:1-8) B. They growled like bears and moaned like doves—all to no avail (59:9-14) C. When the Savior suits up as a soldier (59:15-21)

SIXTY

A. Rise and shine! Your glory will guide the Gentiles (60:1-3) B. They’ll return by way of camels and ships (60:4-9) C. The walls will be named “salvation,” and the gates “praise”—Gentiles will help build both (60:10-18) D. When ’s light will come from the Son rather than the sun! (60:19-22)

SIXTY-ONE

A. The Messiah’s ministry: freedom for captivity, beauty for ashes, joy for sorrow, praise for despair (61:1-3) B. Rebuilding of the cities, rejoicing of the citizens (61:4-9) C. Dressed in robes of righteousness as a bridegroom and bride (61:10-11)

SIXTY-TWO

A. Note the name change! From Deserted and Desolate to and Beulah (62:1- 5) B. Watchman on the wall! Cry out! No rest for you or your God until it is accomplished (62:6-12)

SIXTY-THREE

A. That blood-stained warrior from (63:1-6) B. The glorious history of how He received them (63:7-9) C. The grievous history of how they rejected Him (63:10-14) D. A prayer for pity (63:15-19)

SIXTY-FOUR

A. The consuming fire of the coming Christ (64:1-4) B. Like filthy rags and shriveled leaves (64:5-7) C. He is the Potter; we are the clay (64:8-12)

SIXTY-FIVE

A. He held out His hands! The pagans responded, but not his people (65:1-7) B. Picking out the good grapes, throwing out the bad ones (65:8-15) C. Special news bulletin! New heavens and earth! People still young at 100! Wolves and lambs feeding together! (65:16-25)

SIXTY-SIX

A. They might as well offer hogs and dogs! (66:1-4) B. A nation born in a day! Whoever heard of that! (66:5-9) C. The city will be filled with rejoicing and great riches (66:10-14) D. A detestable diet of pigs and rats! (66:15-17) E. After Armageddon—Gentiles to repent; Israel to return (66:18-21) F. A reminder to the righteous—the burning bodies of rebels! (66:22-24)
