Poseban dio ovog dijela čini periodika istih izdavača objavljena u periodu 1941—1945.     Fault Lines: Sinai Peninsula 20 OCT 2017 The Sinai Peninsula is a complicated operational environment (OE). At present, there are a number of interconnected conditions creating instability and fostering a favorable environment for the growth of Islamic extremist groups. Egypt is battling this situation with large-scale security operations, yet militant activity is not diminishing. The Egyptian government, in coordination with the Israeli government, is placing renewed interest on countering insurgent actors in the region and establishing a lasting security. Despite its best effort, Egypt has been largely unsuccessful. A variety of factors have contributed to the continued rise of the insurgents. We submit there are four key fault lines contributing to instability. These fault lines are neither mutually exclusive nor are they isolated to the Sinai. In fact, they are inexorably intertwined, in ways between Egypt, Israel, and the Sinai Peninsula. Issues related to faults create stability complications, legitimacy concerns, and disidentification problems that can be easily exploited by interested actors. It is essential to understand the conditions creating the faults, the escalation that results from them operating at the same time, and the potential effects for continued insecurity and ultimately instability in the region. The book was published anonymously, but the author was Leopold Lénard (1876-1962). Lénard (1876-1962), born in Svibno, Slovenia, studied theology and philosophy in Innsbruck (1902–3), Lwow (1903–4) and Vienna (1904–6). He spent his early years after the studies as a priest in Krakow, Warsaw and Slovenia. Lénard eventually moved to Belgrade, where he joined the radical party. He died there died in 1962. It is about 150 years old, its earliest arrivals were mainly young men from the Dalmatian coast of whom almost all worked as kauri gumdiggers before moving into farming, and then into viticulture, fisheries and orchard business. Before large-scale urbanisation in the 1930s they lived in the north of New Zealand where there was also considerable contact with the local Maori population. The arrival of ever more women from Dalmatia, urbanisation and with it the establishment of voluntary associations, an improved knowledge of English, the language of the host society and, above all, economic betterment led to ever greater integration. After World War II migrants from areas of former Yugoslavia other than Croatia started to arrive in bigger numbers. Nowadays Croat people can be found in all spheres of New Zealand society and life, including in the arts, literature and sports. But the history of the Croats in New Zealand is also characterised by its links with the 'Old Country' whose political and social events, the latest in the 1990s, have always had a profound influence on the New Zealand Croatian community. UVOD U ratnim okolnostima ljudi uvijek pate. Bez obzira je li riječ o onima koji su uključeni u vojne operacije, ili se pak radi o nenaoružanom življu koji nema aktivne uloge u ratu, tragedija rata zahvaća jedne i druge. Posljedice ratnih zbivanja ostavljaju trajne ožiljke na svima onima koji su u ratu sudjelovali, ili su ga samo svjedočili. Jedna od težih posljedica ratova svakako su seljenja stanovništva usred ratnih operacija, opasnosti od neprijateljskog napada ili opće nesigurnosti života uzrokovane glađu, bolestima i ostalim nedaćama. Pored različitih elementarnih nepogoda, ratna zbivanja ostaju do danas najvažniji uzročnik premještanja stanovništva. Tragedija napuštanja domova i seljenje u druge nepoznate krajeve s nadom da će se u budućnosti ostvariti povratak kući dio je sličnog obrasca koji se ponavlja u gotovo svim ratnim vremenima. Takvo kolektivno povijesno događanje, koje također ima društveni karakter, u žiži je interesa ove disertacije. Cilj disertacije je integralni i znanstveni prikaz pojave koja se zbila u tijeku Drugog svjetskog rata, a obuhvaća višestruke zbjegove hrvatskog stanovništva s područja južne Hrvatske, ali i šire. Višeznačnost imenice "zbjeg" omogućuje da se koristi pri opisivanju kretanja stanovništva na određenom prostoru u smislu sklanjanja pred ratnom opasnošću, zatim kao skupinu izbjeglog življa koja je negdje smještena, tj. nalazi se u fazi nekretanja, ali taj prostor nije njihov domicilni teritorij. Dakle, više manjih zbjegova koji se u različito vrijeme kreću prema nekoj destinaciji zahtijeva korištenje gramatičke množine ove imenice, dok statičnost izbjeglog stanovništva koje trenutačno boravi na jednom prostoru zahtjeva da govorimo o zbjegu u jednini promatrajući ga kao kompaktnu cjelinu.

Publications about monuments to fighters and victims of the Second World War in Yugoslavia began to appear in the late 1950s. They were dedicated to one or more monuments or memorial complexes. Over time, in tourist guides, among other sites, monuments and memorials began to be presented as a significant place worth a visit. During the second half of the 1970s, printing of special tourist guides dedicated only to monuments and memorial complexes started. Because of the popularity of monuments, a sticker album was also printed. The intention behind printing such publications was to inform citizens about monuments, but there was also an ideological side to it. Through books about monuments, the state and the Communist party wanted to emphasize again Yugoslav war efforts and the sacrifice that was made during the war. They used it as a propaganda tool in youth education, foreign diplomacy and overall state propaganda about the role of Yugoslav partisans, under the leadership of the Communist party, in the victory against fascism. VJERA I VJERSKA PRAKSA U HRVATSKIM ZBJEGOVIMA U EL SHATTU (1944. – 1946.) Mateo BRATANIĆ, Zadar Krajem 1943. godine, u vrtlogu Drugoga svjetskog rata, stanovništvo Dalmacije masovno je krenulo u zbjeg preko Visa i južne Italije, zatim preko Sredozemnog mora do Egipta, gdje su uz pomoć engleskih saveznika smješteni na području uz Sinaj, poznatom kao El Shatt. Narod u zbjegu prolazi različite vrste društvenih transformacija koje su posljedica utjecaja Komuni- stičke partije, koja vodi dominantan diskurs u logoru, zatim ratnog otpora pod vodstvom NOP- a, kao i opće nesretne situacije u zbjegu. U tom kontekstu zanimljivo je promatrati kako se u kampovima vrši vjerska praksa, posebice liturgijski obredi, ali i ostali pučki tradicijski običaji koji nisu prekinuti u izbjeglištvu. Posebnu pozornost privlači pitanje vezano uz status i funkciju katoličkog svećenstva u egipatskim izbjegličkim kampovima. Predočeni rad analizira položaj svećenstva, njihov pastoralni rad s pukom, kao i odnos Centralnog odbora zbjega i ostaloga komunističkog rukovodstva prema njima i religiji općenito. KLJUČNE RIJEČI: zbjeg, El Shatt, vjera, Rimokatolička crkva, komunistička ideologija.
