Understanding settlement patterns, populations and the economy of the Sassanid Period in the Ancient Fars; Recording evidence of political, economic and cultural changes that Fars province underwent during the Sasanian and early Islamic periods; Studying and understanding Sasanian Pottery chronologies in Ancient Fars.
