On behalf of Friends of Roscomare, we welcome you to the Roscomare Road Spring Gala 2017. The money raised tonight will be used to help us maintain the educational excellence that is the hallmark of our school by funding art, music, physical education, science programs, and additional textbooks, computer equipment, teachers and classroom aides. This event would not have been possible without the generosity of you and our school community. Thank you! We would like to give special recognition to our Gala committee. It has been an honor working with all of you. Again, we thank you for coming. Now, relax and enjoy the evening! Erin Culling & Danielle Tardino, Gala Chairs 4 Thank You to Our Corporate Sponsors 5 Auction Rules Upon entering the auction, you will receive your bid number. Use only the bid number assigned to you for bidding on silent and live auction items. The Silent Auction opens at 6:00pm. The minimum bid and minimum raise for each item is written on the bid sheet by the item. To be valid, bids must comply with these minimums and be legible. To place a bid, sign your name and bid number with your bid amount on the bid sheet. Doing so constitutes a legal contract to purchase that silent auction item at the price you stated if your bid is the winning bid. The last (highest) valid bid entered prior to the section closing will be the winning bid. A maximum guaranteed bid “Win it now” is stated on many bid sheets. By signing your name and bid number in this box, the bidding closes and the item is yours. The Auction Committee reserves the right to withdraw any item at any time without notice before the actual sale. In the event of a dispute, the Auction Committee shall act as final authority in determining the winning bid. When live bidding, please hold up your hand toward the auctioneer. The Live Auction will continue until all items are sold. If a group is bidding on one item, please designate one person to place your combined bid. Auction items will be awarded to one purchaser only. A bid acknowledged by the auctioneer is a legal contract to purchase the item. All items must be paid for by the end of the evening. Please go to the Pick-Up Table to claim your winning items. If a couple uses two different bid numbers, please make this known at the Pick-Up Table. For your convenience, we gladly accept Visa, MC, Amex and Checks payable to FOR. Once you have paid for your winning items, you will be issued a receipt. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to pay for and remove his/her winning item(s) by the end of the event. Tax Information: This catalog lists the fair market value of each item. Any amount you pay in excess of the fair market value would normally be available to you as a charitable contribution for tax purposes. Please check with your tax advisor for specifics. Unless otherwise noted, all certificates for goods and services must be used within one year of the auction date. All items and services are subject to the terms and conditions specified by the donors. All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds. Friends of Roscomare does not make any expressed or implied warranties or guarantees on auction items regarding quality or value of items or services. Friends of Roscomare has attempted to describe and catalog all items correctly, but all items are offered and sold “AS IS” and “WITH ALL FAULTS.” 6 Friends of Roscomare neither warrants nor represents, and in no event shall be responsible for the correctness of description, genuineness, authorship, provenance or condition of items. No statement made in this catalog or made orally at the auction or elsewhere shall be deemed such a warranty for tax purposes or market value. Items have not been appraised unless otherwise noted. Reservations for trips and vacation accommodations must be mutually arranged with the donor unless otherwise noted. No refunds will be allowed on travel packages for canceled tickets and/or accommodations. By the buyer’s purchase, the buyer waives any claim for liability against Friends of Roscomare, its elected and appointed officials, members and employees, sponsors, volunteers connected with the auction, and/or the donor of the item. Neither the Friends of Roscomare nor the donor is responsible for any personal injuries or damage that may result from the use of the property or services. 7 Thank You This special event is the culmination of a true team effort and would not have happened without the extraordinary efforts of the following: Houlette Family Pauline Vaissie Jones Family Don Tardino JoAnne Lord Susan Stewart Katie Stern Bruce Egger Jodi Hueston Colin Hyatt Barbara Border Teresa Zales-Shoemaker Lani Saken Elizabeth Jane Shortt Melissa Erickson Jiayi Wu The Rosco Dads Club Bonnie Sheldon Tasha Gailys Elana Dombrower Sharon Silver Ezequiel Flores Heather Mock SoilAir Selection Elif Cercel Kinkos FedEx Van Nuys Veronique Audouy Shannon Warner Melanie Monestere The Roosevelt Hotel Gretchen Brotman Caroline Macaulay Bonnie Hofert Rachel Dworkin Georgina Amar Tina Sanchez Aaron Parker In-Kind Sponsor: Nazy Zakhor – Photo Fun Moments Photobooth Centerpieces: Olia Golinder & Rachel Rabbani 8 LIVE Parking Spot #1 One Single Reserved Parking Space at Roscomare Road Elementary School (closest to the entrance) for the entire 2017/2018 school year. • Teamup AUDL Power Rankings 6/22/21
TeamUp Fantasy AUDL Power Rankings (6/24 - 6/30) https://www.teamupfantasy.com/ 1. New York Empire The Empire are still in the number one spot this week. Last weekend they had a game against the Thunderbirds and won easily. They should get another win against the Cannons next week. A real test for the Empire will be in two weeks, when they face the Breeze. 2. Chicago Union Chicago had a great weekend; they beat the Mechanix 30-13 and advanced to 3-0 on the season. Danny Miller played extremely well for them and earned player of the game from the Union. Their next game is against the AlleyCats, who have only beaten the Mechanix this year. 3. DC Breeze The game last weekend for the Breeze was amazing. Their offense and defense both had completion percentages above 90. Young players such as Jacques Nissen and Duncan Fitzgerald stepped up and played well. A.J. Merriman had a huge performance with 3 blocks and 6 scores. They are moving up a spot this week. 4. Raleigh Flyers The Flyers are moving down a spot this week, but that is only because the Breeze played exceptionally well. The Flyers got their first win of the season last weekend and have an easier schedule on the horizon. The next three games they play should be easy wins. 5. Dallas Roughnecks Dallas is staying in the same spot this week. They have only played two games and are currently 1-1. Even though they have only played two games, they did beat a good Aviators team this week.

  • Teamup AUDL Power Rankings
TeamUp Fantasy AUDL Power Rankings (7/8 - 7/14) https://www.teamupfantasy.com/ 1. Chicago Union The Union have earned the number one spot this week. They are now 5-0 after their win against the Radicals. Chicago's offense has so many weapons and they manage to take smart shots. In their game this past weekend, their defense played better than they have before. If they keep up this level of play they will have a good shot at the title. 2. DC Breeze DC is moving up a spot this week. Last weekend they beat the Empire in impressive fashion. They won by three, but New York scored a couple goals in the final minutes of the game. DC’s offense performed extremely well - as they always do - and their defense managed to get a ton of run through Ds. 3. New York Empire New York is stepping down from their pedestal this week. After being at the top for the first five weeks of the season, the Empire lost to the Breeze. The Empire allowed the Breeze to get too many run through Ds that could have been fixed. The Empire are still a great team and are still scary to face. 4. Raleigh Flyers The Flyers managed to beat the Cannons last week. With that being said, they are staying in the number four spot this week. They have another game against the Cannons next week, which should be another easy win. This team has a lot of potential to make it deep into the playoffs this year.

2015 ANNUAL REPORT Celebrating 32 Years of Service Changing Lives, Strengthening Families Since 1983 KFAm’s Mission KFAM’s mission is to support and strengthen Korean American families and individuals in the Greater Los Angeles area through counseling, education, and social services. KFAM was founded in 1983 by immigrant Korean women inspired by the vision of Dr. Tae Young Lee, Korea’s first female attorney, an early advocate of the rights of women, and the founder of the Legal Aid Center for Family Relations in Korea. Under the slogan “standing alongside our distressed neighbors,” KFAM opened its doors in 1983 to offer hope and help for immigrant families devastated by economic hardships, immigration stress, and family strife. The original mission and vision live on through KFAM’s broad range of family intervention, mental health, and social services that provide an important safety net for families and community members. Our dedicated, skilled team of bilingual staff and volunteers serve over 5,000 adults and children each year with quality, culturally-relevant services and compassionate care that speak directly to the challenges among Korean American families undergoing trauma or adaptation stresses. Our services truly provide a vital safety net for resource-poor families without access to care. CORE PRIORITIES 1. Promote wellness and resilience of Korean American adults and children 2. Foster safe, healthy families free from violence and abuse 3. Extend safety net support for families without access to care 4.
