Teamup AUDL Power Rankings TeamUp Fantasy AUDL Power Rankings (7/29 - 8/4) https://www.teamupfantasy.com/ 1. Atlanta Hustle Atlanta proved why they should be number one last weekend. They played the Empire and put on a clinic, winning by a score of 22-21. The junky zone the Hustle use makes opposing offenses make a lot of throws and increases the chance of a turnover. Atlanta’s defense works together well in this zone, almost looking like a machine. 2. New York Empire The Empire may have lost, but they are still moving up this week. They have locked it in after a couple shaky performances earlier in the season. Losing to the Hustle by just one is nothing to be ashamed of. Babbitt carried the Empire’s defense and got 4 blocks last week. 3. Chicago Union The Union are moving down a spot this week, but they didn’t play terribly. They beat the Wind Chill, who only had one loss before that game. Minnesota collected 13 blocks against them, but besides that they only had 7 other turnovers. Their offense, which is led by Janas, valued the disc and made the Wind Chill earn their turnovers. 4. DC Breeze The Breeze did not have a game last weekend, which could be a good or bad thing. They get rest, but this also gives them more time to think about their loss to the Hustle two weeks ago. Next week they face the Phoenix, which should be a win for the Breeze. 5. Raleigh Flyers Raleigh was another team that did not have a game last weekend. They have been heating up and are on a multi-game winning streak. Next week, the Flyers should also have a pretty easy win against the Thunderbirds. 6. Dallas Roughnecks Last weekend was a huge game for the Roughnecks. They beat the Growlers by four points, which is why they are jumping up a couple of spots this week. Dallas’ defense came up big last weekend, recording 11 blocks against the Growlers. 7. San Diego Growlers The Growlers had a double header last weekend. As mentioned before, they lost to the Roughnecks and then beat the Sol. In the game against the Roughnecks, they struggled a lot on defense, only having three blocks in the entire game. 8. Minnesota Wind Chill The Wind Chill lost to the Union by four points last weekend, which is not super close, but also not a blowout. They are still in second place in the central division. Vogt plays a big role on this team; he played the most points for them and scored the most points with four. 9. Austin Sol Austin is moving down a couple spots this week after dropping a game against the Growlers last weekend. The Sol have a lot of solid players. They have a couple superstars, but nobody has many more scores or assists than the others. They play as a team and don’t have anybody trying to do too much. 10. Madison Radicals Madison is another team that did not have a game last weekend. The Radicals have a very solid record at 6-3, but they haven’t played too many of the top teams so far this year. Next week they will have to play the Union and the Mechanix. 11. Boston Glory After a loss in their last game, the Glory got back in the win column against the Cannons. After a hot start to the season and a lot of promise, the Glory have fallen off a little bit. They only beat the Cannons by three. Ben Sadok has continued to carry the Glory and had 6 assists. 12. Los Angeles Aviators The Aviators are moving up this week after getting two wins last weekend. They beat the Cascades and the Spiders. Landesman had a great weekend, scoring a total of 12 goals in the games. The Aviators now have a 3-5 record. 13. Seattle Cascades The Cascades dropped a tough one to the Aviators, as mentioned previously. Their offense did not play well. They had a total of 22 turnovers and 13 of them were earned. This game was not close with the final score being 21-16. Next week they play the Growlers and the Aviators. 14. San Jose Spiders The Spiders also fell to the Aviators last weekend. This game was a little closer than the Aviators’ other game, with the final score being 20-18. The Spiders also had a scary number of turnovers with 24. Next week they will be facing the two teams from Texas. 15. Philadelphia Phoenix The Phoenix did not have a game last weekend. They are only two games away from .500 at 3-5. Next weekend, they will have a game against the Breeze. People are expecting them to lose, but maybe they will pull off the upset. 16. Indianapolis AlleyCats The AlleyCats captured their third win of the season last weekend, but it was also their third game against the Mechanix, who happen to be the worst team in the AUDL. They are second to last in the central division, only ahead of the aforementioned Mechanix. Next weekend, they face the Wind Chill. 17. Pittsburgh Thunderbirds Pittsburgh did not have a game last weekend, keeping their win total at just one on this season. Next weekend they will play the Flyers, who have already beat them this season. They have another game next weekend against the Hustle, who are currently the number one team in our rankings. 18. Tampa Bay Cannons The Cannons lost to the Glory last weekend. Even though they have been losing a lot of games, they kept the game relatively close, only losing by three. Tampa had a 92% completion rate, which isn’t terrible, and they also managed to get 9 blocks. Next weekend, they have to play the defending champs, the Empire. 19. Detroit Mechanix The Mechanix lost their third game of the year to the AlleyCats. Detroit still has not won a game yet. Last weekend’s game was the closest one they’ve had, only losing by five. Next weekend, they will face the Radicals..

I decided to pick up my life, and venture to the lone star state to discover what all the fuss was about in Austin, Texas. These many years later, I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. That being said, there were still challenges to overcome as a “new” Austinite. I didn’t know what areas of town were the best fit for my wife and I to establish our roots. I really didn’t know anyone in Austin before I moved here, so relying on others’ opinions wasn’t much of an option. Through some luck (and a few bumps in the road) I eventually found my perfect spot. Over the years, I’ve found myself working more and more with people taking that same leap of faith I did. I enjoy helping others find their own place here in Austin so much, that relocation consulting became the centerpiece of my business when I founded my own company in 2012. Since then, I have had the privilege of helping dozens of individuals and families settle into our city and locate the right home to begin their own Austin story.

TeamUp Fantasy AUDL Power Rankings (6/24 - 6/30) https://www.teamupfantasy.com/ 1. New York Empire The Empire are still in the number one spot this week. Last weekend they had a game against the Thunderbirds and won easily. They should get another win against the Cannons next week. A real test for the Empire will be in two weeks, when they face the Breeze. 2. Chicago Union Chicago had a great weekend; they beat the Mechanix 30-13 and advanced to 3-0 on the season. Danny Miller played extremely well for them and earned player of the game from the Union. Their next game is against the AlleyCats, who have only beaten the Mechanix this year. 3. DC Breeze The game last weekend for the Breeze was amazing. Their offense and defense both had completion percentages above 90. Young players such as Jacques Nissen and Duncan Fitzgerald stepped up and played well. A.J. Merriman had a huge performance with 3 blocks and 6 scores. They are moving up a spot this week. 4. Raleigh Flyers The Flyers are moving down a spot this week, but that is only because the Breeze played exceptionally well. The Flyers got their first win of the season last weekend and have an easier schedule on the horizon. The next three games they play should be easy wins. 5. Dallas Roughnecks Dallas is staying in the same spot this week. They have only played two games and are currently 1-1. Even though they have only played two games, they did beat a good Aviators team this week.

  • REVIEW 2013 - 2014 Dear Friend of Randall’S Island Park
REVIEW 2013 - 2014 Dear Friend of Randall’s Island Park, Thank you for your interest in Randall’s Island Park. As Co-Chairs of the Randall’s Island Park Alliance (RIPA) Board of Trustees, we invite you to enjoy our 2013-2014 Review. RIPA’s continued success in reaching our goals comes through the great work and generosity of our many partners and supporters – a true Alliance in support of the Park’s programs, fields, facilities and natural areas. You will find in the following pages photos and acknowledgements of the many local program partners, donors, volunteers, elected officials and City and State agencies who have helped to bring us to this point. We are especially grateful to the New York City Department of Parks & Recreation for extraordinary support and guidance throughout our successful partnership of more than 20 years. Following its recent transformation, Randall’s Island Park’s visibility continues to grow, and more and more New Yorkers are visiting its shores. Our fellow Board Members, challenged and inspired by what the Park can be, continue to contribute countless hours and crucial support. In 2014 the Board undertook a comprehensive plan for improvement and expansion of our free public programs. Visits to the Island have nearly doubled in recent years, to approximately 3 million! We expect our increased free programming will continue to expand our universe of visitors and friends. Many thanks to these millions of fans who visit and who compliment the Park through positive feedback on our social media, sharing photos and observations, and who help us to grow our Alliance every day.
