1 GANS PUBLICATIONS ORDERING INFORMATION – please read carefully. The list below is intended to provide a complete record of the published works of Dr. Carl Gans. Many of these titles are available as offprints for distribution. Many others are not. Members of the scientific community are welcome to request copies of publications that are available for distribution. Please follow instructions carefully for placing requests. Please place orders by email to Chris Bell <[email protected]>. Copy the full citation(s) you are requesting from the list below (including the reference number) and paste it into the body of the email. Provide your name and a complete postal mailing address where you would like materials sent. PDF files are NOT available, so please don’t ask. If you do not have email access, you may request titles by postal mail to Chris Bell Department of Geological Sciences 1 University Station – C1100 The University of Texas at Austin Austin, TX 78712 Titles in BLUE are available for distribution (= more than 10 copies in file). Titles in red are available only in limited numbers (less than 10); please provide a justification for your request. In general, these can be sent only to researchers engaged in research specific to the topic discussed in the paper. Three titles in Green are BOR volumes that are available to students for the cost of shipping. Everybody else has to pay $35 + shipping. Contact Chris Bell for details and information about payment. Titles in plain black font are not available; please do not request them. Some titles are only available as photocopies that Carl used for distribution. These are not distinguished in the list. Additional photocopies can not be made. PLEASE NOTE: Open-ended requests (e.g., for “all titles”) cannot be honored. People requesting numerous items may be asked to pay for shipping costs. 2 **BOLD** = Bold-face font indicates titles or portions of titles not yet seen and verified. Complete copies of these were not in Carl’s Master File so Bell is still chasing them down. If you happen to own one of these and can clarify the citation, please contact Chris Bell by email at <[email protected]>. Orders will be filled in the order they are received. No orders will be filled until after July 15, 2006. CARL GANS BIBLIOGRAPHY 1. Adler, K., and C. Gans. 1984.
