Snowarama (January/February) Snowmobilers from all over the Sault and area gather together for a day on the trails in support of Easter Seals kids. The Sault Ste. Marie ride has earned the distinction of being the top fundraising Snowarama in the province several times. TD Change For Change (Winter) Every winter, schools in the district collect coins with the help of our community on behalf of Easter Seals kids. Over $12,000 was raised in 2017! The Easter Seals Telethon (Spring) Local personalities showcase Easter Seals kids, their stories, and how your donations make a difference in their lives through the purchase of mobility equipment, communication devices, accessible summer camps, and travel grants. Station Mall Rotary Charity Golf Classic (August) The 5th annual Station Mall Rotary Charity Golf Classic will tee off Thursday, August 24th at Crimson Ridge Golf Course. Player fees ($175/individual or $600/foursome) include cart rental, on-course contests, player prize package, lunch, 18 holes of golf, and entry to the dinner and auction. The centre assists 500 clients and employs 44 staff. Rotary Youth Exchange (September) Rotary Youth Exchange builds peace one young person at a time. Rotary Santa Claus Parade (November) The official kick-off to the holiday season, the parade takes place under twinkling holiday lights and attracts over 7,000 spectators. Rotary Battle of the Sections (January) Held annually at a Greyhound game, donations are collected and the people in the section that raises the most receive a prize. Rotary Science Fair Algoma (April) Presented by Tenaris, the fair is open to students from Grades 7-12. There are awards and prizes for the top projects and a chance to attend the Canada Wide Science Fair. Rotary Sports Awards Dinner (June) Held yearly to honour our local male high school athletes, and highlighted by the presentation of the H. P. Broughton Memorial Trophy.
