ROSE ONION Bangalore Rose Onion locally called Gulabi Eerulliis is small onions grown in Bangalore Rural districts. which are deep scarlet red in color. The bulbs will be smaller in size with (2.5-3.5cm) diameter which is highly pungent, high TSS and dry matter content. They are also known to contain higher levels of protein, phosphorus, iron and carotene. The ideal conditions for growing rose onion are: soil with pH between 6.5 and 7, atmospheric humidity of 70 to 75% and average temperature of 25 °C to 30 °C. As these conditions are found around the Bangalore region. We Export Quality Fresh Rose Onions to our clients and are in great demand from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Bahrain, UAE and Sri Lanka. At the meeting of the Special Session of the Committee on Agriculture on 16 November 2012 Members endorsed the call for the Secretariat to provide a background paper on export competition. The original request for this Secretariat paper is contained in the G-20 non-paper "Request of Studies on Tariff Rate Quota Administration and on Export Competition".2 2. Growing awareness among consumers for safe and healthy food grown in tandem with nature has triggered the growth of another food segment across the world. Organic farming was found to be the most viable and effective option to address all these concerns and to address the consumers need. Although modern organic agriculture has its roots in consumers’ desire for safe and healthy food and has emerged from western developed economies, of late it has also caught the attention of sustainability promoters and has been found to address all the global concerns.
