Based on the sixth population census data at township level, this article analyzes the population distribution of Henan province, China by the geological statistics method. The result shows that population distribution of Henan province could be divided into three types: low density in mountain areas, medium density in plain areas, and high density in urban regions. The variation functions have similar trends in the four directions of E-W, N-S, NE-SW, and NW-SE. When the distance is over 80km, the anisotropy enhances. The exponential model has the best fitting effect for the variation function. The interpolation results represent the gradient change process of population density intuitively. Terrain condition is the basic factor influencing on the population spatial pattern. High population density in urban regions are the outcomes of mutual effects between the superior geographical condition and socioeconomic development. Introduction Population distribution is a reflection of the human-earth relationship in a special space-time background. Understanding the population distribution and what determines this distribution is fundamental to understanding the relationships between humans and the environment [1]. With the advancement of modern space technology and geographic information processing technology, the study on Chinese population distribution has experienced from qualitative analysis and simple quantitative to spatial-temporal modeling [2]-[4]. -

The Bank and Henan hereby agree as follows: ARTICLE I – GENERAL CONDITIONS; DEFINITIONS 1.01. Planned activities will provide students firsthand knowledge of living conditions, cultural norms, and needs of people in a small disadvantaged village, and its contrast to the large, urban environments of Beijing and Shanghai, as well as university student life in a small city (Xinzheng) and rural life in the Henan Province. The trip will offer students the opportunity to experience Chinese culture and customs, exploring sites from ancient and imperial China to the rapidly-changing, 21st century China. Particularly in the northern heating season, dust-haze has been very serious. Air pollution has a wide range of influence, which not only poses a hazard to human health, but also has a negative impact on the landscape of the scenic spot. This paper, by selecting the scenic spot- Longmen Grottoes as the object of research, applies the whole- sample analysis technique to determine the concentration of PM2.5 in the scenic spot. Then it analyses water- soluble ions, carbonaceous substances, and heavy metal elements one by one. Finally, it’s concluded that: (1) The concentration of PM2.5 in the Longmen Grottoes area exceeds the limit, esp., in winter, which may be related to coal burning; (2) The calculation of the cation-anion balance shows that the atmospheric PM2.5 in the scenic spot is acidic, acidifying the precipitation, and causing corrosion and damage to the grottoes surface; (3) The linear correlation of OC (organic carbon) and EC (elemental carbon) concentrations in the atmospheric PM2.5 of the scenic spot is relatively high, indicating that their sources of pollution are the same; (4) Zn, Pb, and Cr in the atmospheric PM2.5 components are the main heavy metal elements. -
